Snapon Franchisee Joel Nickerson (and his college Nick Smith) who handle Dartmouth, Halifax and surrounding areas of Nova Scotia are AMAZING to deal with. They were quick, responsive, polite, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and HIGHLY recommended them to everyone.
Tool are expensive, but not after service at all. Sale guy disappears after sell you the tools. The snap on calling center is so rude to you when you call them. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them . Good luck .
Double parked on TWO handicap spots at LaRose in Milton 2 October 2024. Not only did the two reps RUN inside and bought lunch, they sat in the truck eating it, parked right there in the two handicapped spots closest to the store's door. Lots of free spots in the parking lot. Entitled employees? No, they didn't have a permit.
I have bought many products from Snap-On over the years. Recently I decided to contact the Snap-On guy to have some of my tools replaced under warranty. One tool, flush side cutters, I was told has been discontinued and there’s no replacement so I’m out of luck. Secondly I inquired about a 3/8” flex head ratchet. The guy said he’d order me a new one. It’s been over six weeks and haven’t heard back from him. Any help on how I can contact this guy? And no I don’t work for a business. These tools are for personal use….. Thanks.
Warranty has become a nightmare. I have to ship a single socket back myself and wait a week+ to hear back if I am even getting a replacement. Snap-on is far behind other tools brands with ease of warranty. These tools aren't viable anymore as a full time technician.
*Update* Very happy to finally have a Snap-On Guy for our route, hes been amazing and been working hard for our business. I only wish Snap-On would work with their Canadian Dealers on some more tool logic and special pricing for us Canadians. Snap-On Canada should really start doing working hard to help their dealers and customers. Things are different in Canada compared to the U.S and I think they are missing a huge opportunity. Been a loyal Snap-On Customer for years and I can't even get a Snap on rep in my city. Either Figure a way to deal with you guys online or get rid of the drivers.
