I was shopping here at Talize Thrift Store in Mississauga today (December.14) and I was thoroughly impressed by the organization and cleanliness of this store. The toys were all organized by colour and type and it almost looked like a regular department store because any multiples were placed beside each other. There was a lot of Christmas decor and nice displays. There are change rooms with an attendant which is very nice. There are public washrooms for the customers. Lots of selection and also had a full checkout with human cashiers! This is a nice refreshing change from the self checkouts I have become use to at most Value Village chains today. I also like that the store supports local charities like Sick Kids. Will definitely be returning to do some more shopping at this clean and organized store!
Talize is by far the best vintage store. It's very well organized...by size and colour. And you can try on the clothes. Way way better than VV. I've been to several Talize locations and highly recommend. Found some amazing items. Also sometimes you can get coupons for donating.
Disappointing experience at Talize. I purchased clothing from Talize and returned within their stated return policy because the items did not fit. Unfortunately, the staff refused to accept the return, saying that one item’s tag was “out” and the other was “the other way around” — even though this is exactly how the clothing was sold to me. I escalated the issue to the store manager, but they also refused to honor the return or provide a reasonable solution. Please be very careful before buying anything from Talize. Make sure you are 100% certain before purchasing, as they will look for reasons to deny returns.
Today was a sale day at this store, and the store was busier than usual. The fitting rooms and cash register were incredibly professional, and I was able to get through my business quickly without waiting too long. Despite such a busy day, the staff were very friendly and positive. Thank you, Talize.
Came here with my friends as we did clothes swap...Great thrift store!! Wish they had one in Vaughan! Great selections and I even found my size! Will definitely come again!
Good prices. Exceptionally clean. Way better than Value Village. Friendly staff. I love how the clothes are grouped by colour and size. Well organised store. I’ve never seen it messy. Great job for a thrift store.
. The Talize thrift store . I heard some people mispronouncing it and seeing the pronunciation wrongly thinking that it’s pronounced talizay but not Talize . The old front of Talize was blue with in red writing Talize but they redid the sign and now it’s not like that anymore how it looked then anymore now it’s orange with in white writing Talize The Talize thrift store . the name of the thrift store Talizay but not how it’s really pronounced Talize . The books section for entertaining anyone and entertainment to get to entertain themselves. Talize pink tags on them that say and to say that they were bought at Talize or a yellow Talize tag meaning that it was bought and it was got from Talize .
