Great selection of meats and seafood..most of the products are European!In my opinion one if the cleanest and best stores in Mississauga
The go to warehouse for everything Portuguese and more. I would like to see more import selections and a better pricing structure. I highly recommend the home made products like meats, chourico, condiments etc.
Some of their food is good and at reasonable prices. I found their steaks to be very tough and some fish not cooked properly. Service is generally good.
My husband and I spend about 150$-200 bi weekly on the butcher at Tavora. The last time we went there it was around 645pm I asked a woman what time they closed she told me she didnt speak english. I then proceeded to the counter for meat where two ladies were they both ignored me while I stood there for about 10 minutes with their heads down. I finally said excuse me can I get some help and they still ignored me. I never felt so disrespected in a store I'm spending my money.. they were all getting ready to close the store and made me feel like they were doing me some big favor. I wont be returning as I rather buy from a place you arnt treated poorly if you arnt fluent in Portuguese.
Authentic Portuguese. Grocery fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh and frozen seafood with a real butcher shop gives you the feeling you're shopping back home.
