Consistently inconsistent. This No Frills is a constant disappointment. The layout seems like they had no real plan, it could use a significant design overhaul in product placement.Looking for the advertised sale products of the week? Good luck if you aren't showing up at 8am, apparently. They NEVER have items they have on sale in stock, whether this is from being understaffed (come on Loblaw, stop being cheap and give these No Frills owners more to work with) or whether this is by design, I don't know nor do I care. There's a demand for these products. It's why they're in the flyer. Whichever aspect of the supply chain it is needs to wake up and provide these stores with the proper amount. If it's poor management at the store level, why harm yourself by affecting potential profits? Particularly with fresh produce there's no reason to store it until the 'sale' price passes. I have no desire to return to this store again, which is unfortunate because No Frills are typically my preferred grocery stores. It's not an acceptable business practice to have wide swaths of shelves completely empty.
All these no-frills are stocked and staffed by people who don't run houses and people who don't cook. All the PC points in the world can't make up for how bad no frills has become.
Considering the location, it is an average No Frills for day to day needs. The store plan is bit strange from the other No Frills lay outs and the products are mixed. Its not easy to look for something unless you browse the entire aisles.
Good prices, but I find really good show stopper deals sell out early and don't get restocked throughout the week.
I was pleasantly surprised walking into No Frills today. I was looking for a budget grocer and I think I have found the best one in Mississauga. The store was clean, the shelves fully stocked, and the prices were honestly fantastic. I always worry about the quality of produce when I go to places like Food Basics but the produce was great at No Frills. I will be back!
