Would definitely recommend! Tried to book a 15 truck and ended up with a cargo van which, obviously, could have turned into a bad experience. We were visibly disappointed but Sam and Khamoni were very patient and professional with us, extended the time we had the truck (at no charge) and even gave us a MORE than reasonable discount. They made our experience a great one. Thank you Sam and Khamoni, we will definitely be back the next time we need a moving truck and will recommend you to others!
Have rented a van in 2015 and a small trailer couple of weeks ago. I dont know why people arent happy with this place but I never had a t issues with them at all. Both experience went super smooth and the two ladies (I cant recall their names) were super supportive and nice. Also the gentle man who helped attach the trailer to my Pathfinder was helpful and gave us few important advices. Will come back again for my u-haul needs from this place.
I rented a 10' truck for 1 day for a move. Overall they were nice and had my stuff ready. It got the job done. I had requested to pickup in oakville and dropoff in etobicoke. Instead I was told via email to pickup here. Once there, they asked for all the information I had already filled out online which was a bit odd. The front clerk said it would be cheaper to drop off back here (which it was so thanks to him!) so I did as well. I returned the truck in 3 hours and it was fine. The only thing was the next day I got a call from the place I originally wanted to drop it off at saying I was late because they hadn't registered it as returned yet. I had to call customer service to call this store to do so. I would recommend confirming with them that they have signed it back as returned when returning.
I couldn't get my app to load for renting out the truck when I arrived so I went inside. The staff member who helped me was able to get me set up just as quickly as if I had done the app. I've rented uhaul many times using the app in different cities across Canada, I usually avoid the counter because I find it would take too long. But not here! I was already used to the process too, so I'm sure it helped that she didn't need to go through every bit of the contract with me. She led me outside to where the truck would be waiting - it wasn't there so she went and fetched it right away instead of waiting for the other guys to come back. When she drove up and parked the car, she told me we needed to go back inside because the gas reading did not match what she had put on the contract. I appreciate that she noticed and updated this for us. Turns out, we didn't need the truck for the full day, so I came back early to drop it off. The guys were busy receiving a number of trucks already and so when he drove up he said "Did you refill the gas?" yup. "Are you using the credit card on file?" yup. "You don't have to wait for us then... we will email you the final receipt with details." Cool. So I left. I received my receipt later in the evening and they had properly adjusted for the reduced kilometers than what I had originally anticipated. Great job guys. You made the rental super easy for us in spite of a few small hiccups. Made our lives so much easier. Thank you.
