We had an exceptional experience celebrating my mother-in-laws 80th birthday here! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything felt extra special! A big thank you to our server, Adrian, who was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make the celebration memorable. Thank you Sameer for accommodating us! Highly recommend for special occasions and great service!
Absolutely love it here. A hidden gem in Lorne Park. Food, service and ambience all wonderful! Have always had delicious meals here and they change their menu often. Service is outstanding and the decor with warm wood accents is beautiful. Their surprise desserts with smoked dome and sugar paper set on fire are the icing on the cake. Will continue to be happy patrons at this lovely restaurant and it’s only 3 minutes away! What more could we ask for?
We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and it did not disappoint. We were running late and the restaurant was kind enough to accomodate us. Coat check was instantaneous upon arrival and we were escorted to our seats. The ambience was lovely and we were able to audibly hear each other the whole time. Our waitress was very accommodating to our meal modification request and even surprised the birthday girl with a surprise birthday dessert. She was incredibly patient and attentive, and very efficient. The food was delicious. Complimentary bread with delicious spreads was provided, followed by our mains, and then desserts. The steaks were incredible with a lovely selection of red wines to pair the meal with. Overall a wonderful culinary experience and I am looking forward to coming back for the fix prixe date night menu. Thank you for the delicious experience!
Quality of food was excellent however service was poor and the food portions for what you pay, I questioned the oz of the steak as it seemed shaved the cut.
Had my birthday dinner here yesterday. Just wanted to say Olga and the team at the Park were welcoming and took very good care of our table. They made sure we had a great time and consistently checked on us. We all enjoyed here and the food was awesome too!!
Paid $400 for 2 meals. It was my wife's birthday and our first time trying this place out. The service was absolutely terrible, none of my requests made ahead of time were met - then kept forgetting my orders. 30mins to get bread is absolutely insane. Then another 30mins on top of that for apps....and I should really say app, because after I got mine it took another 10min for my wife's app. After I complained food came quick - but remember when I said kept forgetting my order? No beer, had to ask 3x. At the end of it all we were waiting for the flame reveal dessert that never came. We saw it going to another table so I sarcastically asked "hey, what's that for?" The server said "it was for birthdays and anniversarys"....lol....so i said "it's my wife's bday, remember?" "OH sorry sorry will get it going right away" Maybe I could have forgiven that if the overall experience wasnt terrible to begin with. Sure by the end I was a little frustrated but the server started giving back handed replies as if I wasnt justified in being upset. $400 to get service like a burger king is insane. Safe to say it ruined the experience for my wife. Whats even more upsetting is no one apologized, or offered to comp anything. They acted like this was normal and if it is, stay away from this place.
Celebrated my birthday here. We ordered all the seasonal menu; the butternut squash with crab bisque, the escargots and the 16oz New York strip with 4 scallops and roasted Brussels sprouts, baby potatoes and baby carrots. The food was outstanding and complex in taste. What was more outstanding was 2 things. 1. Perfect service by Olga, who was warm, made great recommendations and flow of dishes, understood our selection and appetite, and read the room really really well. The manager, Fatimah, also came by to say hi and offered to help of any assistance. Another server (I didn’t get his name) also came by with birthday wishes and salt and pepper. 2. A great birthday surprise! The little sugar volcano that burnt down to reveal a beautiful mixed berries chocolate mousse cake was a delightful and delicious end to the whole meal. A lot of restaurants serve mediocre tasting desserts that are often small, but this place served up their best as complimentary and I really have to give them kudos for the heart they put in this. Thank you and we had a great time!
