Highly recommend the calamari with the delicious sauce. Smashed burger was good, but needed cheese. Pasta with chicken Parmesan lacked seasoning. Prices and portions were good. Just strange that there were no take out containers for the sauce so I had to dump breaded calamari and onion rings with the sauce into one container… what a mess.
I want to clarify that this is strictly an 18+ casino, not a family restaurant, even though it may appear in food search results. We visited with our family and made an honest mistake entering, as the heavy snow obscured the signage outside. I fully accept responsibility for missing the sign. However, the security staff’s reaction was completely uncalled for. Instead of politely informing us of the policy, the guard was aggressive and practically pushed us out. A simple verbal correction would have been enough; the rude attitude was unacceptable. Management needs to train staff on basic courtesy.
Went here with a couple of my friends for food due to the high reviews on google. This honestly astounded me after my experience! I had ordered a steak Medium Rare, and what was delivered well done, not even a bit pink. When I had asked the server what cook was on the steak, she claimed it was medium rare, and then after looking at my astounded expression, she told me that she told the kitchen staff said to just bring it out, claiming she "knew it was bad." She then took my steak back to get it recooked, and came out within 5 minutes. The steak that followed was the most abysmal steak that I had ever tasted. That, and she did not inform the table that they were going to charge for water, which at a small restaurant like this is pretty unheard of in my opinion. Will not be returning.
We’re from out of town and ended up finding this restaurant when our original plans fell through. We weren’t sure what to expect with such good prices, but their food, especially the burgers, were delightful. The service we received from John was phenomenal. Everything considered, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to return the next night for a quick meal before heading home. The menu is a little limited, but everything we tried was good. We will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.
R Kitchen is tucked inside Rama Gaming House, so getting past the casino front desk was a bit odd, but once we're seated the vibe wasn't bad. I came for the beef stew and mashed potatoes. Their stew was hearty and savoury (just a tad bit dry), and their smooth and buttery mash really hit the spot. The double smash burger was good and well-seasoned as well. Overall, the food was solid and reasonably priced. Not related, but I could do without the casino front desk trying to sign us up for promos on the way out.
Great food at a reasonable price since the renovation! Had the chicken & waffles which was a big portion & delicious. Meatballs in pomadoro sauce was tasty & a good portion also. Highly recommend for a quick & delicious meal while at the casino.
The food was amazing and very well priced. Not to mention, the service was impeccable! Owners were so kind and friendly and staff was just as wonderful! 10/10 would recommend.
