Its a decent food truck to try at least once. I have mixed feeling for this place. I first tried their soup it was above average (more like chana sabji that soup) but Lucky Patiala Shahi is way better. Chana in chana soup tastes flat literally. Then i ordered one more bowl of same soup it was less tasty than the first one (it was from a new batch). Then i tried veg crunchy momo, those took very long time to cook, which was ok with me. But veg crunchy momo were to hard to chew, too dry. And veggies(filling) was not flavorful enough. At last i had the Kesar milk which was great, a lot of dry fruits in it and taste was great. But had to wait long time for it. They are super busy because of social media hype, so please be prepared to wait between 30 mins to 45 mins. Atmosphere is not really good here, because its located in a busy car wash parking lot. Customer service is good. I ordered 4 items one by one, it took me little over 1 and half hour. Not a bad place if you want to try it once. But not a great place or food that you can keep going back to. I went there because of social media hype as well. But to be fair it was above average not too good or not too bad overall. Prices are very low $$. Another thing is they only sell vegetarian food(100% vegetarian). So a great option for people that dont eat meat or like places that sell meat. No seating since its a food truck. So you can either do a takeout or sit and eat in your car at their parking lot. Parking gets hard to find, when they are busy.
We call them and placed our order for 4 noodle burgers. Owner told us that it will take 15 minutes to get complete order ready. When our friend reached there after 30 minutes, they were still opening the food truck and the guy who gave us timeline was not there. Whenever we order on call they just fool us and take more time than allotted to their customers. If you are not prepared then you should not give the timeline to your customers.. Very disappointed… One star is still high rating for this behaviour…. You are living in Canada where time is money and you are spoiling money of your customers….
Their ordering system is really ridiculous, not as usual food trucks. If you don’t stand there you won’t get your food. Their soup is awesome but other stuff like bugers and spring rolls are average or below I would say.
Kya Baat Hai food truck is a hidden gem! I tried the black chickpea soup and it was absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. It’s impressive how such big, authentic taste comes from a food truck. Quick service, great vibes, and definitely worth stopping for. Highly recommended!
“Today we went to try the food at Kya Baat Food Truck after seeing it on TikTok. The place was really good and they gave us a great deal. Because of a little miscommunication, our food came a bit late, but they handled the situation very professionally. The channa soup was amazing! I would definitely recommend everyone to visit Kya Baat Food Truck and try it. Best of luck to them!”♥️?
I recently visited Kya Baat Hai for a food experience, hoping to enjoy their famed golgappas. Unfortunately, they were out of service, which was a bummer. I decided to try their soup as an alternative, but that turned out to be a huge disappointment. The soup wasn’t really a soup—it was just an overpowering mixture of spices. It was so spicy that it didn’t feel like a meal, just a burn in my mouth that lasted way too long. I also got some spring rolls, which were drenched in oil. I could literally taste the oil with every bite—it was just too greasy to be enjoyable. The noodles were another letdown. They were bland and not seasoned properly. To make things worse, the outer layer was so salty, it made the whole dish inedible. Overall, the food was a huge disappointment. If I could give zero stars for taste, I absolutely would. Definitely not returning anytime soon
Channa soup is just over hyped!!!! The service is worst and the atmosphere is also bad. I would recommend to try lucky patiala soup house in brampton. Much better then here.
