Look, I can’t rate on all dimensions, I bought this on DoorDash. But DAY-YUMMMMMMMM. I just can’t get over the flavours here. Oh, you ramped up the heat? Flavours. The flavours have such freaking depth. Y’all have a custom for life. I’m a believer
Food was so good. Hidden gem, didn’t even know it was there, and now I’m gonna have a hard time staying away. Food was fairly priced and my takeout was ready far quicker than I expected.
Love the food ....amazing!...BUT....when I pay a premium for goat doubles thats twice the cost of a regular double and I get literally 1 piece of goat thats very disappointing especially when I just payed almost 100$ for everything
Ordered through UberEats. Food was inconsistent. We both ordered roti, one chicken and one goat. We both asked for medium spicy. The chicken was too spicy and the goat had no spice. The chunks of goat were so big and tough that I had to spit my bite out after trying to chew for nearly 2 min and no getting anywhere. Disappointing experience to say the least.
I have had and loved the shrimp and chicken doubles before with dhal puri however I once ended up ordering the shrimp with rice and it was exceptional!! Very unique local flavours blended beautifully in the gravy like topping on the rice. Great portion quantity as well for the shrimp. New favourite late night craving spot.
Best West Indian food I've had in a long time. We ordered the lunch special $12.99 for a half size goat roti, $9.99 for a half size shrimp roti, and BOGO (buy one get one free) doubles for $4.99. We dined in and the rotis were served on a plate with sauce on top. I won't lie, it was the first time I had ever eaten a roti with a knife and fork, but the roti was soft and thin, not too doughy. The filling was a big saucy (hence the need for knife and fork), but so delicious. The half roti was definitely filling for lunch. The goat was tender and seasoned just right. There were only 4 shrimp on the shrimp roti with curried potato filling, but the shrimp were big and seasoned well. The doubles were great too, it's been a long time since I've tasted proper doubles in Mississauga. We ended up meeting Kish, the owner, on our way out. Very nice and friendly and we paid our compliments to the chef. Very happy we finally visited and will definitely recommend to all my friends and family.
Visiting from NYC and ordered some roti and doubles all the way from downtown Toronto. Usually I get Leela's when in Mississauga, but Kish's might even be better! Nice and succulent roti with lots of curry, which is not very common in my experience. Absolutely love the flavors and the sauciness of the roti as most rotis I have tend to be on the dry side. 24 hour delivery to Toronto is a game changer. You know what this tells me? These guys are working HARD and GRINDING for our respect, and that's what they deserve. Much better than anything in NYC and downtown Toronto, that's for sure. Edit: Just ordered Leela's and I will now crown Kish's as the #1 Roti in the Toronto area. I much prefer the heavy curry of Kish's.
