We attended Keenan’s Irish Pub on Saturday night (December 6th). It’s Ty’s old Erin Mills Pump which we went to a lot. We enter and get seated. Our server Natalia served us drinks we ordered and another server brought out jugs of water. There were 28 of us in our party. Natalia took our food order as not everyone was ready to order and to overwhelm the kitchen, we ordered the Doolin burger my wife ordered fries and I ordered the poutine. Our burgers came and the burger alone was a pretty good burger. Two patties, bacon, and usual accompaniment. That’s where it stopped though, the fries not good. The menu says hand cut, I would say from frozen out of the freezer and the poutine was cold gravy over cheese curds that weren’t melted at all on frozen fries. Disappointed! Our evening with friends was good, a little karaoke was done and plenty of conversation. Natalia was a rock star for handling 8 different food orders plus drinks plus where’s the bathroom requests. Would we go back, probably not. Night with another large group again but we would not return being just us. The good part about this pub was the service again Natalia was excellent as was the burger. Fries were a total let down, poutine (I was looking forward too as I only get a cheat meal a month) sadl, was not good. We did have a good time but that’s in the company you keep. Keenan’s Irish Pub, do better.
Food was sub par. 3 meals ordered. Rice bowl was tasteless. Greek salad with chicken. Whole peppers cut into 4 huge pieces. And a produce sticker was left on. Tomato basil fettuccine was enjoyable. Dessert. Lave cake was good. Sticky toffee pudding was cold and dense and did not come as advertised. No ice cream Server was absolutely delightful though and was tipped accordingly. Hopefully they do not have to share with the kitchen as it was not the server’s fault.
Felt so like home for a irish person. Vanessa is amazing thank you so much for everything will definitely come back would highly recommend to anybody especially anybody irish coming to Toronto. Everything was amazing will definitely return.
I went there the other day to have dinner with my adult son. I pick that place because is quiet and not too loud. I asked the waitress to be seated in the room that had last people. Although she was friendly and attentive, she was checking in every 5 mins. than another staff member was checking again. We order food and drinks and having an important conversation that kept being interrupted again and again. I do appreciate the attention and care but every 5 mins is annoying and not enjoyable. I asked what time they were closing because I though perhaps that was the rush, however she never answered my question but come back later saying this is last call. I found out later that they close 2 hours after we left. Also, at the time of payment, is super annoying to have the waitress stare at you while paying. Please give the customer a bit of space.
Such an amazing tasty selection of food. We had a birthday celebration and all we can talk about was the excellent food. Customer service was very nice and professional. We will be back again.
We came to celebrate the passing of a dear friend. We had the time of our lives! There was karaoke happening (Wednesday nights) and everyone was having a blast! Come down here on a Wednesday night and enjoy. Really nice staff and crowd!
