The food here was very good, unfortunately the service left too much of a sour taste in my mouth to enjoy. The woman working was extremely rude not only to me but to two other customers who came into the store. Completely ruined the experience.
The lady serving me was very sweet and friendly but after a long drive to come out and checkout the spot after visiting at cne to say the least I was disappointed. Rice wasn’t fully cooked and there wasn’t much gravy as well chicken was on the dryer side as well. Everything was straight dry but we already left and couldn’t come back. Usually a hit not sure what happened yesterday but very upsetting
The Lady at the counter is nice, but her service was slow. As we entered, the worker was taking care of an online order and didn't acknowledge us until she was done. I noticed this with another 2 walk-ins that she only deals with 1 order/task at a time. I ordered a stuffed patty (patty on a bun with coleslaw & jerk chicken in it). This is the first time I've ever had a stuffed patty/patty on a bun at any establishment that I left feeling hungry. They put cut up chicken thighs instead of a whole piece of chicken thigh to save costs. We also ordered a jerk sandwich, which was basically the same amount of meat as my stuffed patty on a hot dog bun with lettuce, but more expensive, which didn't make sense. We got fries, and it wasn't even seasoned with salt. Flavour wise - the mariantion on the jerk tasted like Grace's jerk chicken seasoning. Nothing special.
As someone who truly loves good food—especially oxtail—I was really looking forward to trying this dish. Unfortunately, the meal was quite disappointing. The oxtail was soggy and didn’t meet the quality I expected for the price. I genuinely appreciate the effort that goes into preparing food, but I hope the restaurant can improve the consistency and quality, as I would love to give it another try in the future.
Amazing food! I got the Curry Goat and it was fabulous. Good amount of meat, perfect portion size with pepper sauce on the side. Will definitely be returning and trying more.
Food wasnt great no flavour jerk chicken taste burnt real jamican food nah taste so patty has freezer burn pon it i dashed the food and went to sunrise up dixie
Solid Jerk chicken, curry goat and beef patties. I will definitely be trying out the rest of their menu. Staff and owner are very friendly with great customer service. Came in just at closing once and they went the extra mile to prep additional food instead of turning away a hungry customer at the end of a long day. Glad that they have opened up a brick and mortar location and will be returning frequently.
