We arrived and were quickly seated, but after waiting for over 25 minutes, our server had not come to take our order, nor were we offered any drinks or water. We decided to leave the restaurant because of this lack of service. The restaurant was not busy at the time, as there were only two other groups. This was the first time we have ever felt the need to walk out of a restaurant due to poor service. I hope you can address this issue with your staff
Outstanding Experience at Hakka Nation Creekside I had a genuinely enjoyable dining experience at Hakka Nation Creekside, and it exceeded my expectations, especially as a first-time visitor. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, clean, and well-organized, making it a comfortable place to dine whether you are familiar with Hakka cuisine or trying it for the first time. The highlight of my visit was the Manchow Noodles Soup, which was absolutely excellent. As someone new to this dish, I was pleasantly surprised by how balanced and flavorful it was. The soup had a rich, savory depth with just the right amount of spice, and the noodles were perfectly fried, neither too soft nor too firm. The combination of fresh vegetables, well-seasoned broth, and aromatic spices made it both comforting and satisfying. It was hearty without being overwhelming, which made it an ideal introduction to combined style flavors. Portion sizes were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The staff was courteous, attentive, and patient, which made the experience even better for a first timer who was exploring the menu. Overall, Hakka Nation delivers quality food, great flavors, and a pleasant dining environment. If you are new to Hakka cuisine or simply looking for a reliable spot with consistently good dishes, I would highly recommend starting with the Manchow Noodles Soup. I will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu hopefully.
Great place, amazing food. I walked in for lunch and the restaurant was relatively empty. The food however is amazing. Well balanced, hot and filling as you would expect Desi Chinese to be! Would like to visit again
Lovely establishment. Great service and the food is well-made and delicious. We felt good, truly good because it is made with excellent ingredients and the chef knows what they are doing. I highly recommend.
The service was excellent. The girls at the cash and taking our orders were super friendly and helpful. Made our experience great. The food wasn’t bad, just more desi style vs hakka. If you like a desi twist to it, then this would be the place for it. Again, food wasn’t bad at all. We did enjoy it. I just like more Asian twist to it vs desi. Again…. Still good food! Also the place is clean and nice:)
Chicken 65 was really good and so were the noodles. However, these guys are genuinely rationing with the chicken pieces. They were the size of a toonie. The Manchurian is pretty bad as well, very gravy intense it takes the flavour away from the chicken. The worst of all were the rice which tasted grainy, undercooked and like they were reheated in a microwave. To make matters worse the server was incredibly rude and dismissive. Please don’t be working in the service industry if you don’t want to provide service!
Food below average not at all the hakka standard. Chicken noodles and fried rice was flavourless hardly had any chicken pieces . Less Quantity for the price.
