Decided to try out the weekend brunch. Decor and vibe are great. Service was also really good - the correct blend of checking in with diners and not bugging them constantly. As for the food, I had the HS Benny. I'm a big fan of eggs benedict, and am certainly open to trying new things. The miso hollandaise was delicious. However, putting eggs benny on pound cake was a bad idea. Unique, but bad. Not interested in cake with my eggs, did not like the flavour or combination. I'd eat there again, but would not touch the HS Benny. And that's too bad, because variations on eggs benedict are my #1 brunch fave. That's the thing about fusion, it doesn't always work.
Habitat Social is such a standout spot in the neighbourhood. The vibe is warm and modern, with an atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The food was incredible—fresh ingredients, great flavours, and beautifully done without trying too hard. It feels like the kind of place Port Credit has been needing: welcoming, elevated, and still relaxed enough for a weeknight dinner. Service was friendly and genuine, which made the whole experience even better. Absolutely a neighbourhood gem. I’m already planning my next visit.
We were heading home from a morning walk and had the idea to grab brunch. Even though we probably looked a bit out of place, we were seated on the patio. The menu had an Asian flare which complemented everything we had. The flavours were a 10/10. What was most surprising was the portion sizes. This is definitely not the rabbit food spot that you’re forced to eat somewhere else after. You might need a friend or in my case a fiancé for the assist to finish. This is now on the list for a potential Bridal Brunch party. Looking forward to be back.
The cocktail making class was so much fun, Peter is such an excellent teacher and i would totally recommend the class to anyone looking for a fun date or girls night out
If you want to go somewhere nice and swanky with a unique menu, good coffee and chat with a friend, this is the place to be!! Very friendly staff!!!! right by the water too!!
My girlfriend and I, we're in the port credit area and we were feeling that we wanted to check out a great burger joint. We googled best burger places, import credit, and a list of them came up. A bunch of them were legitimate, fast food places where you really can't settle in and enjoy a restaurant type setting. We saw habitat social, modern kitchen, had amazing reviews and checked out the pictures and it looked super cool. Lo and behold, when we ordered the beef burgers, they were absolutely amazing and the fries were to die for. We would highly recommend habitat social, not just for the burgers, but the service and the atmosphere. I didn't have a chance to take a picture of the burger, but I did take a picture of the fries before they were devoured. Everyone was awesome. And we are looking forward to coming back again.
I came for brunch today and had a lovely experience. David was a personable and efficient server and had great recommendations. Highly recommend the HS Benny. Thanks David!
