Canvas Art Bar is a gem in Port Credit. Parking was easy and free street parking was a bonus. We arrived early for drinks and dinner before an event and had an amazing experience—beautifully made cocktails, a cozy yet stylish space, and fantastic food. The roasted brie and fig pizza and truffle fries were standouts. Great lighting to snap pics, great music throughout the venue, and stunning graffiti-style artwork. We’ll definitely be back.
Had an amazing time at this hidden gem. Service was great and food and drinks were amazing. Our server/bartender was very friendly and created an awesome well crafted cocktail! Portions are large as well. Must visit this spot in port credit.
It’s been easily 2 years and the second sink in the men’s washroom still has no handle to operate it. Even though the mixed drinks can be good, Based on how expensive drinks are overall, the sink should have been handled right away.
Honestly ur seems like a hype, but they have lost their flow. When they first opened it was fun, now I’m like after 3 chances I’m done…. It’s boring not lively at all.
This place has potential with its chill atmosphere and nice lighting, but unfortunately, the staff - especially the owner (Julian/Juliano) - completely ruin the experience. We came here with a group of friends on a Friday night, and to my surprise, the place was nearly empty. The dance floor had no one on it, and the rooftop patio was closed, which was disappointing. On top of that, the owner kept pacing around the room, making everyone feel uncomfortable instead of welcomed. We ordered a few drinks and a shisha, spending hundreds of dollars within the hour. Out of nowhere, the owner decided to ask us to leave with no explanation. When we tried to ask why, he had nothing to say. Instead, he escalated the situation by calling the cops and causing a scene for no reason. It was unprofessional, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary - he ruined our entire night. The only reason this isn’t a 0-star review is because of the decent atmosphere and drinks, but otherwise, I would not recommend this place to anyone. To make matters worse, a few years back, someone was actually shot and killed right outside the front entrance, which makes me seriously question the safety here. Be cautious if you choose to come - this spot is not worth the risk.
Came here for the rooftop patio, the vibes were off the charts. Live dj was really good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful the service was on point. Can't ask for more!
Thursday's is Latin Night, and that's the main reason I go, as they offer free Bachata Lessons. Most other places charge, so it's somewhat a hidden gem if you're looking for a low investment, chill environment, with a free dance lesson on a Thursday. I know Friday nights and Saturday nights are the busiest for dancing, so they're very successful at that. Hopefully Thursday's follow suit, because it definitely has potentially, it just needs a little promotional push, it can get there. Oh yeah, $6 tequila shots helps, too. Salud!
