First came across MusicM through Kijiji. Great communication. Went to the shop in person from a few hours away, and the staff member was very helpful and patient. I ended up getting a red carbon fibre cello case for an incredible price (I think it was less than $350 all in - much less than those advertised on aliexpress). The case looks great, and if it lasts me a couple of years, it will have been money well-spent. Just a word about the fibreglass case I tried: it was looser around the lower part of the cello so my instrument would move inside in the case, which is why I went with the carbon fibre case for $40 more - snugger fit with an elastic loop to hold the endpin in place (don't know if the fibreglass has the same loop). Thank you, MusicM! I will happily buy from you again!
Excellent little music store, so much variety and good prices on instruments. Went there for the first time today, April 26/25 and purchased a Bass guitar, was able to try out a few and the owner was very professional and helpful. Will go again for other purchases or repairs.
I recently bought a 4/4 violin from this shop for a friend. As a person with 0 knowledge on violin I kept asking the person many questions he was patient enough to provide more details than I asked. My friend loved the violin. Instruments come with 1year warranty. All instruments are available at an affordable price.
Had a guitar repaired here. They fixed the guitar (bridge repair) however not a lot of care went into the work. Functionally, the repair worked, esthetically, the repair could have used more careful attention to detail (glue visible around bridge). This guitar is sentimental as it was a gift from a famous artist, thus would have hoped for more care. During my 2 visits here, the staff weren't overly friendly, and being my first time there would expect some warm welcomes when walking in, looking for someone to help and when picking up my guitar. This is only my thoughts on 2 visits, so take with a grain of salt.
DONT BUY FROM HERE!!! This store is just Chinese counterfeit guitars, pianos and other instruments. They are not even decent quality counterfeits either. I stopped in here for strings as it was the closest store to me on Google. He had one old pack of cheap Chinese strings and told me they were top quality. I took a look at the guitars, and then I realized why this place is in an industrial complex with the instruments hidden in the back room out of view. Don't buy this stuff! They will tell you they are refurbished or on consignment and don't know the origin, so he doesn't get in trouble. If he knew anything at all about them, he would know they were fake. All of them, not just a couple. It's obviously a lie. They are terrible quality, and you're better off buying an inexpensive model from a well-known brand at a reputable store where you'll get quality products and a warranty. When this place eventually gets shut down, you don't want to be left with an instrument that no store will work on if anything happens. If youve ever bought a Gibson guitar, Yamaha Piano or whatever else from this place, you were scammed. It is 100% fake, not refurbished or being sold on consignment.
Found this place via kijiji add but when I go there price what they posted was not the same and the person told us it is not all included. They should have add that on the kijiji when they post
