Honestly, I wish I had read the reviews before booking my scan. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 a.m., and I arrived at 10:48. The lady at the front desk said, “You’re early,” and I took that as a compliment until I realized later it wasn’t. After sitting and waiting for an hour and forty minutes, I understood it really meant, “Oh no, why is she early?” A man came in around 11:20 a.m. for his 10:50 a.m. appointment. The same front desk lady quickly reprimanded him for being late. But guess what? He went in for his scan before me. How does that make sense? Shouldn’t it be on a first-come, first-served basis once you’ve missed your appointment time? By 12:14 p.m., my bladder and I were fighting for our lives. I was finally called in at 12:28 p.m., but by then I was in so much pain I couldn’t take it anymore I ended up in tears. I had to void at 12:40 p.m., got my slip back, and left completely drained and disappointed.
My mother in law visited this location and the technician treated her poorly. The technician, she got was absolutely disrespectful and dense with caveman logic. That technician needs to go back to school and learn basic science. I have no idea who let’s someone with such lack of basic knowledge operate is allowed to operate complicated machines. I have reached out to complain about her twice now and have been promised to receive call back, never received the call. Absolutely disappointed.
Nice enough waiting room but with very ripped up armchairs that should be replaced. Very little wait, if you have an early appointment. But very busy after 10am. This centre only does ultrasound. The technician that worked on me was very indifferent... aside from pregnancy, u/s is often used to diagnose medical problems. Some empathy for pain or discomfort, should be a part of any medical workers job. I understand some people aren't nice which can make a job very difficult.... but I was nice, and I pointed out my bleeding biopsy site, but my technician didn't seem to care and I'm sure she efficiently did her job, but I was in tremendous pain. At the end of the procedure, handing someone 3 or 4 PAPERTOWELS, is also inappropriate. It took 2 towels to wipe off the gel and about 15 paper towels that shredded to mush (before I found the stash of towels). I've also had a procedure like this done before and had a much better, professional experience. The area that needed imaging was in a private area... in the past, they have asked to have you lower your clothes and cover yourself with towels they provide to help you lower your possible embarrassment and to shield the technician from areas they may not want to see. Not here. Just pull down the corner of my pants and pull it to the side, stretching your pants to cover your privates...... which ended up getting gel all my clothes. And it was crazy awkward too. The building has a paid parking lot... but if you have a SCHEDULED appointment that is 90 minutes or less, they will validate your parking ticket. They DO NOT advertise this openly in the office... it's on a small sign by the entrance to the clinic, not at the front desk... why hide that? If you are a walk in, you won't be validated according to their sign.
This is the same review I wrote for the Etobicoke location because the same story happened at this location this past Saturday. This review is for the x-ray office hours. The requisition indicates it’s open on Saturdays but when we arrived there at 12:20pm it was closed. I am assuming no one wanted to work on a long weekend on a Saturday. This is fine, but update your requisition so patients with broken bones don’t need to drive all over city to find the open x-ray ODC office.
I had a smooth appointment today for ultrasound. The clinic was not full and had enough seats. I’ve been holding full bladder enough time until my appointment and I was called in just in time not to feel uncomfortable. I’m thankful the have Sabah do my scan, she’s very knowledgeable and such a sweetheart. Thank you
Please make sure you wear mask while visiting this facility. In case you don't you can request for face mask. It was nice experience visiting this facility.
Lady at reception was wrost , unwelcoming and really bad customer service. She was arguing with everyone. Unprofessional and unethical,, she didn’t give images of ultrasound.
