I came to Mississauga to deliver a series of lectures, and I was in search of a quiet place to prepare for my presentations. I literally searched all the libraries in the area, and lucky came across this amazing library. Good selection of books, good people and an amazing vibe.
My daughter prefers this over a big new one they built where I live in Meadowvale. It's quiet, simple, and clean. Nice they let you bring drinks in now as I was able to get her something to drink from Tim Hortons literally right next door.
The library used to be very good before, but has deteriorated now. The wifi is very poor even though its a very small library. The staff are very stuck up and rude, there are some really rude people who don't even give you a smile. Also there are some book helpers, who don't seem to know anything even though you ask them a question and just keep stacking books like zombies.
The staff can be very helpful if you are willing to ask. Cute quiet location . Still can navigate my way around there because it's the same layout from when I was a child . A nostalgic feeling ! They have printing but only black ink which could use an upgrade. Don't forget you can even rent movies, cds, magazines, games all from the library also ! They sell their used items for a very affordable price by the front door when they make more space for new books( good for kids with book reports, can get books for under $1) or adults . I recently got the book of negros in great condition for only $1!!!! They also offer drop in activities for children and even a computer skills class on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons for older generations wanting to learn how to use modern technology and basic computer skills. A great quiet place to get work done or take your kids! There is also a small park beside the building where you can let your children play after
