Staff was very kind and helpful! I went to get a library card and do some printing, and they guided me through each step. Very knowledgeable and patient.
The library is quite small and feels congested but the staff is quite nice so that’s good! The community centre located outside is spacious and has quite a lot of space so that’s convenient!
Very friendly and helpful staff. There are a number of activities for children to do over the summer like the TD Summer Reading Program and Scavenger hunt. Love that we can now sign out life jackets!
After coming here for a year and a half on my own I was told you have to be 14 in order to be in the library by yourself. All other staff members I've been seeing for years and now its a great place to be! Many computers and iPads for everyone to use and staff now are generally nice. Could've just been that one person who didn't like the fact that I was talking to people who were being to loud and kicked me out with them even after I told her I'm not with them and these people were people I only just met on the computers. The noise and volume can be pretty loud with staff not really helping enforce it all that much unless someone's actively being disruptive on purpose and if they get a complaint about a specific person. Lots of books to choose from and the mississauga library system is always being kept up to date! You can get video games and movies as well as shows. There's a fireplace to keep warm with that's lit almost all the time except summer. Love this place but it has a few caveats. It's frequently very busy and the quiet zone isn't even quiet. Nobody enforces the quietness in the library unless it's specific teenagers or kids acting out on purpose.
Dropped by weekday to work remotely. Decently quiet. Really comfortable. Only drawback was Limited number of single seat desks for silent working/studying near back of the library (I think I counted 4?). Only 2 have access to power plug.
Librarians are gorgeous and friendly. However, no food in the library is allowed makes it difficult to stay for long periods. I was expecting Clarkson library to look older with it being one of the oldest libraries in mississauga. Note: no selling, or advertising something as a product of a business at the library. Furthermore, self-serve machine to check out puts cursor on left side as one is writing towards right. This makes it difficult to know what is written.
