I have my own family doctor but my family doc was on vac so I was seen by two different doctors on two different days. Sunday I went as I wasn't feeling too well, Doc#1 says just take Flonase for it. Monday came I wasn't any better, I srated having chills and fever so I went back and was seen by Doc#2, he said I have viral infection that is floating around and to ride it out for two days. Chest, lungs, ears, throat clear Chances of me getting pneumonia is highly unlikely. Tues came and still the fever was on and off, my cough worsened and I just feel sick. Called them Wed morning to check it my fam doc is back from her vac, she was but was fully booked. Another doc can see me but i will not be until 250. So I searched on google for a clinic with good reviews and found the New Best Care Medical Centre. I was seen by Dr. Nalia Furqan. Right off the bat I told her that she is the 3rd doc I have seen im 3 days. My fever is on and off, my cough worsened with phlegm... She was very thorough asked me questions, listened to my breathing several times and lo and behold there is a crackle on my mid lobe lungs and requested stat on my chest xray. She prescribed antibiotics inhaler and cough meds ahead of the xray chest which confirmed her suspicion of pneumonia. Thank you Dr. Farqan.
Worst experience ever! They mess up with your appointments. We booked an appointment for October 7 about a month ago. However when I called in several days ago to confirm, they told me the appointment was on September 28 and they absolutely could not find another weekend appointment for me until the late October. So I gave in and rescheduled for the evening of 28th, and now they called my husband, telling him that the doctor need to leave at 6pm. Oh, they also mentioned to my husband just now that he had an appointment with them today at 5:50, which again of course, he had never made. If you want to control or know in advance the date and time of your appointments with your family doctor, don't ever go to this place!
I've been recieving excellent medical care from Dr. Rafay for over a decade. She takes the time to listen and give me the attention I deserve. At times that results in a wait or a late appointment take in. I'm glad to wait because I know I will have her full attention when it's my turn. The new office is fantastic and I love the in house pharmacy! If you are recieving poor service from the front staff, perhaps you should stop stressing them out LOL. I get 100% professional service with a smile every time!
The doctors are very good but the support staff is useless and, since they're the ones we have to deal with most of the time, it often ruins the experience.Also, if you're going to run a clinic that allows patients to walk in, then you need to list accurate hours. The hours listed when you call the office never change but you might as well pick a random number when it comes to the actual times the doctors start and finish.
Not saticfied .. Lazy staff .. Can do much better.
