The dollar store itself is great and offers a wide variety of items. However, I feel it is important to share an incident I witnessed, especially since many people read reviews and I hope management becomes aware of this concern. One staff member (possibly a manager, though I am not certain) was abruptly yelling at another staff member who was working at the cashier. From what I overheard, the person yelling was upset that the cashier was not completing another task—restocking items on the shelves. The cashier calmly explained that she could not leave because she was the only one at the register and customers were lining up. Despite this, the other staff member continued yelling, telling her to call for backup but not to “just stand there.” This behavior was completely inappropriate. This is not kindergarten. There is no excuse to yell at and publicly humiliate an employee in front of customers. The entire store could hear it, and it created a very uncomfortable environment. Respect is essential in any workplace. Management should be teaching staff how to communicate professionally and treat one another with dignity. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
bought a glass jar, asked the woman (not Filipino) if they have any paper to wrap it, she took 1 sheet that’s not enough to wrap around the jar, didn’t even bother to tape the wrapper, I thought you might as well just not do anything
It’s rare to come across someone who truly cares about the customer’s experience, and I will definitely return to this store because of the excellent service I received from Fresca. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience, thanks to Fresca. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful when I needed assistance. She met my expectations with our balloon order. The store was clean and well-organized, and their positive attitude really made my shopping trip enjoyable. Great customer service like this deserves recognition!
