I rented space from them at one of their locations. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move away from their premises. The company’s management, headed by Hamza were super helpful in this transition. They not only refunded back our security deposit, but also made alternative arrangements to occupy at their other locations. They do care about your business.
Will update on what’s going on with my file this week if it doesn’t get solved. Be aware. They will lock you out and take your money I will be taking this to the media if this is not solved along with the owners
If there was a "zero stars" option, I would have used it for this review. I rented a dedicated office with ZEMLAR and then later moved to just a mailbox with them. At 4pm on Sep 25th, I was informed by email that -- effective Sep 26th -- the ZEMLAR location on Cornwall Rd in Oakville (where I maintained my mailbox) would be closed permanently. Allegedly, Zemlar failed to pay its landlord, Melrose Investments, there. That is, notwithstanding the rent it was collecting from its sub-lessees. I also understand, based on hearsay, that this wasn't the first time ZEMLAR has "borrowed from Peter to pay Paul" and that a similar shirking of its responsibilities occurred at another previous ZEMLAR location (on North Service Rd) in Oakville. I will not be doing business with them again. Edit: @Zemlar, I see you replied. If you have anything productive to say and care to contact me, then you have my personal / business contact information and can use it at your discretion. Otherwise, please don't pretend in these public forums that your reply, with its invitation for any of us to email you, counts as you being particularly responsive. I have not seen you take any responsibility for your actions or inactions in this respect.
I rented space at zemlar and was also given little notice that the space was closing. I also pre paid 8months rent a week prior to closing. I have not received refund on prepaid rent, last month's rent and security deposits. No communication. Very unprofessional, unethical. Please don't rent space from this company.
Terrible experience! I vacated their Mississauga Rd location over a year ago and still haven’t received my security deposit. Despite countless follow-ups, all I’ve gotten are delay tactics and empty promises over email. The location is now closed, and it feels like they’ve just taken my money and disappeared. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. The customer service has been horrendous from start to finish. Stay far away — they’re clearly not a company that values integrity or their customers.
We took an office space from them in Sept 2024 and were paying our rent due every month on time. We found out in Apr 2025 that they haven't paid the building management (their landlord) rent since the past 6 or 8 months in spite of collecting rent from us. Finally, they were thrown out by the building management for failure to pay. More importantly, in spite of following up since months, they have not returned our security deposit. They make fake promises but do not reply to calls or emails. If you write them a stern email, they will have 'someone' call from a Private Number to make another fake promise yet not return the security deposit. They may lure you with lower rents or 'ramadaan' deals like pay 3 months rent and get 1 month free - but it seems this is how they make money. Stay away and find yourself a legitimate place to rent.
