The comments about the really poor customer service appear to be real. I called to ask if they have frozen spinach and the person who picked said they do. I asked about the price of a pack and she said I’ll have to come to the store first. I asked if she could just tell me over the phone and she said she cannot tell me the price of a pack of spinach over the phone. I thanked her and informed her I’ll not be able to drive 15 mins to her store just to confirm how much a pack of frozen spinach sells for. Based on little experience and other low reviews, The store needs to spend time learning customer service. A simple price verification shouldn’t have this type of response especially when Asian and other African stores sell the same thing.
Variety of African foods here. They carry fresh ogi or “Pap Special”, suya and raw meats. The store is well organized and clean. The woman(owner) is customer-friendly.
The first time I went to this store with my mom the lady or the owner was so rude and insulting she kept staring at us as if we were thief's anytime we ask her for help about a certain product or price she gave a rude and condescending response.i felt really bad. Their customer service is very terrible. We left without buying anything and I will never go here again. I am never recommending this place to any of my family or friends
Very bad experience the garri I bought here 2x is like a sawdust and very expensive, and the customer's service is totally rubbish, never again I will go there guys watch out
I stay 10 min away from the store.I go to Dundas for my food stuff never going back to that store.I remember the first time walking in the store she was urging with customers.The next thing I know she turned to me and ask what I wanted with a dirtiest attitude.I can never go to that store even if my life depended on it.she is so unprofessional such a person should not be involved in any kind of business and she is very rude
I went in there to buy lotto tickets with my children. Lady was rude and offensive and made religious racial remarks and continued to be rude as we left. Never going there again.
