I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by your company in relation to my tax filing. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I believe it is important to bring these issues to your attention. Initially, your company erroneously applied for the Canadian Workers Benefit (CWB) on my behalf, despite the fact that I was not eligible as a student at the time. Due to this mistake, I received a refund initially, but later the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) began deducting amounts from my regular tax returns. When I approached your office to address the issue, your team initially attempted to place the blame on me, claiming that I had failed to provide necessary documentation. However, at no point was I asked to provide any additional documents such as my college receipts. Had I been asked, I would have provided them immediately. After much back and forth, I was eventually told that I could still apply and provide the required documents. I submitted all necessary paperwork within 30 minutes of being informed. Despite this, I had to wait 15 to 20 days without any update. Upon following up, I was informed that one document was missing—yet no one had contacted me to request it. After promptly submitting the missing document, I again received no response for another 15 to 20 days. I had to physically visit your office multiple times to resolve the matter. On one occasion, I waited over two hours while your representative prepared a letter. After all this delay, I was eventually told that it would take another two to three months to process, and that I could instead handle it myself via my CRA account. If I had known from the beginning that I could resolve it independently, I would not have wasted my time relying on your services. Despite all my efforts, I have yet to receive my refund, and I am left disappointed with the lack of accountability and professionalism demonstrated by your company. Moreover, I was charged $120 when I was a student and $150 after I obtained my work permit, under the claim that students receive a discount. However, I later discovered that many of my friends who applied elsewhere were only paying $50 for their tax return. I am paying twice that amount and still left disappointed by the service I received. Additionally, I was initially asked to leave a positive review for your company, which I did at the beginning. However, after facing all these issues, I decided to delete my review. Now, I feel it is important to share my honest experience so that others are aware of the service quality provided.
