I had great sessions at Axiz Physio - Doug Leavens location. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall I would really recommend Axiz Physio for physiotherapy needs.
With the crazy amount of competition for clinics/service providers in this field, you'd think there would be more attention on providing a positive experience. There is not. I only starting coming here as I was following one of my service providers from a different location. I should have known this was not a good fit from my first visit. When I arrived, I was told the service provider did not show up for their scheduled shift and there was no one else there that could see me. No problem, this was out of their control and I was offered a complimentary service for this inconvenience... but this was just the beginning. On my second visit, I was told to visit there other location (not doug leavens) when I arrived, it was closed. I had no idea what to do and could not get any staff to answer the phone at doug leavens, forcing me to drive over there. When I did, it took 15+ minutes for anyone to even notice me. Once spoken to, I did receive an appointment but the time was "docked" due to "being late." I was only "late" because you told me the wrong location, and then took forever to stop gossiping between each other to help me out. I essentially paid for a service I did not receive... strike two. On my third visit, everything went smoothly but I did notice that the sheets used on the treatment table were absolutely disgusting. I had to request for them to be changed, but the second ones were not any better. For my next couple visits, I would have to bring my own clean linen with me to cover there's, that's how bad it was. Because of all the above, making the 2+ hour commute to come here just wasn't worth it and I stopped attending for over a year. After a new injury, I thought I'd give them another try, only because I was missing my RMT. My next appointment was booked for 1 hour. When I came out to pay for the service I was told the service provider had gone over treatment time by a half hour, and I would be charged for this - SURPRISE! I refused as I had no idea he went over his time. No one ever mentioned this to me, or asked me to consent to additional time. Front desk called over a woman that they referred to as management, I expressed that it's unprofessional to put the ownness on a patient to watch the clock during their appointment and then surprise them with a extra unexpected charge when trying to leave. How relaxing is that? Also, not my job. I have 10+ years experience managing wellness clinics (among other medical experience), this is unacceptable behaviour. Never have I expected a patient to look up from the massage table every couple minutes to watch the time, who does that? It was the responsibility of the service provider to either 1) provide the booked service or 2) ask if the patient would like their treatment extended BEFORE performing any service. We agreed to put a note on my account that going forward they would only provide the service I booked, nothing more. I was hopeful this would rectify any issues going forward. From there I had a couple appointments that went fine. At my last visit, when I came out to pay there was no staff left. They had locked up and left for the day. Both myself and the service provider had no idea what to do, as they did not know how to take payment. Again, unprofessional. I told him to take it up with the staff and give me a call on Monday. A couple days later I received an email requesting that I pay for a 2 hour service, although only 1 hour service was booked... here we go again! Unprofessional beyond belief. I have never experienced anything like this in the 19+ years I have been receiving this service. Myself and my family won't be back, thus ending a 12+ year long relationship with the service provider. What a shame, as he is the best thing they got going for them. Note: a lot of the time, especially weekends, reception will ask to you pay BEFORE your appointment. Not a big deal for some, but something to be mindful of. Also, they are in desperate need of new treatment beds. You've been warned.
I can't say enough good things about my acupuncture experience! Ms.Wei Li who treated me was amazing—so skilled and genuinely caring. After just two sessions, my back feels 10x better! She knows exactly the right spots to target. If you're considering acupuncture, I highly recommend her!
I got excellent psychotherapy for my both feet (plantar fascia) with laser massage therapy . So, Thank full to Jasmine who recommend to me . I will give 10/10
I came here after a back injury from a fall and it made a world of a difference! My physiotherapists are Jasmine and Arman. They're not very punctual though, I wait around 15-25 mins for my session to start - so that's a big negative in my book.
The staff is very welcoming. Jasmine & Lynn are amazing. From past 4 years I’m going. I always feel better after going there. The exercise and treatment really help. I can see and feel the difference in my body. The place is clean and the treatment for my conditions is all addressed. I would highly recommend Axiz Physiotherapy & massage.
A very clean place. I don't want to say anything negative because we didn't know what the problem was at the time, the women did a hot and cold treatment on my foot with a massage. It turns out that I have arthritis in my foot and my foot doctor told me to put a cold pack on and to do lots of walking.
