I’ve been seeing Disha for a few months now to help keep me in shape for the fitness activities I participate in such as obstacle course racing as well as my job in emergency services. I’ve been having back pain for the past 2 weeks and I decided to give this place a try because it is inside my gym. The receptionist asked if I wanted the “senior or standard” massage and said the senior had more massage techniques and even acupuncture involved. I decided to go for that. When I arrived I had to wait an extra 10 min past my time and what I really didn’t understand was: I booked an spot for a massage but I spent 40 min talking about my pain “issue”, 15 minutes I actually got a massage on my right shoulder and neck and the last 5 minutes another talking saying I would receive an email with exercises to do a home to reduce my pain that I also never got it. I am still trying to digest on what the hell I payed $150 for??? I feel scammed and a fool.
Dr. Aheer is a horrible doctor to have. I was referred to him over a year ago to receive help in diagnosing my tailbone issues. I saw him in Oakville first where he referred me for a bone density scan, and never called me with the results. He then referred me for an MRI, and again never called me with results. And lastly he referred me for CT scan and never called with results. When I first had to track down my results I called Oakville and was told he no longer works there but to call Mississauga. Called Mississauga and had to wait weeks for him to give me a 5 minute phone call to tell me my results. Then I got a letter from Brampton Athletes Care for my next scan appt dates. Once I completed the scan I called Brampton for my results. Then one day I get a phone call informing me my CT scan is in a few days, can I still make it. What? What scan? No one communicated with me about another scan. Had to reschedule and call Athletes Care to ask what was going on with that. Finally complete the scan a few months later and waited a few weeks before calling and asking for my results. They don't have them. I have to get them. Ok, maybe call and tell me that. So then I provide my results and was told they'd have Dr Aheer call me. 3 weeks go by, never heard anything. Gave them a call and asked to book my appt with him. Was told I was calling the wrong location and can't book an appt with him. I've been told he's at Brampton or Mississauga back and forth. So aggravating. Finally book an appt. He calls me an hour after he's suppose to and interrupts me at work. On the phone he tells me he'll send an email with my results so I can provide to family doctor. 3 days go by and no email. Call Athletes care again, the receptionist sends me my report. He's trying to refer me to someone else and never again will I use Athletes Care or Dr Aheer. Between him and the staff, they need to sort themselves out. I'm in pain and it's over a year later and I still don't have answers and I've had to track down my results every time. Never again.

Mr. Purro, had treated a pinch nerve on my shoulder. I was in severe pain and experiencing numbness on my hand due to that. He immediately knew how to alleviate the pressure. He used so many different techniques. He gave me advice on preventing such situations in the future. His experience and knowledge is always growing. Most importantly he is so patient and listens to all your details. And he asks the right questions to figure out the best path for you. I recommend this individual anytime and every time.
