We always love to wait at the airport for family, friends or nearest ones. Toronto Pearson International Airport is a busy airport and the paid parking facility is little-bit expensive. The more you wait the more you pay! For a short period of time its a hassle to park-in and get out from a large multi-storied parking premises. When cell phone communication is possible with arriving or departing passengers, this parking lot is the best solution for park the vehicle and wait there for a little longer time than the airport gates. This parking facility is free of cost if driver/attendants stay inside or around their vehicles.
Signage isn't that great. Look carefully! Great concept for sure. No washrooms but lots of parking spots. You are only 5-6 minutes away from the terminals.
A good way to save on parking while awaiting the arrival of a flight. It's free for the first 45 minutes I believe but no one is out there timing your stay. I believe the only rule is that you cannot park and leave your car, you have to remain with the car. As of the last time I was there, it is an open lot and there is no entry gate or ticketing system. The lot of is of decent size and I have never seen it full since people come and go.
What a great idea... Thank you to Pearson airport. I've used this so many times and it has saved me time and money. If I go to the airport with family for an arrival I simply drop off my fellow greeters to the terminal and I chill at this lot. Our guests arrive and I get a call and go pick em up. This is safe, well lit and very convenient. I wish they had a concession to buy some coffee or snacks, also a washroom would be handy... Love it either way...
