I have been going here for the past 5 years, it is by far my familys go-to Chinese food when we need a quick dinner. Great prices. Very friendly staff. Great ambiance and the food has never failed us. Mingroom is definitely a must visit if ur craving Chinese/ Hakka cuisine while in the area.
This place is absolutely disgusting!! I went with a friend who has been twice before and liked it but it seems there is new management or owners and they have no idea what they are doing. I got old food, reheated and cold rice. The flavour was nasty and service was the worst I have seen in years. This is supposed to be an Asian style restaurant but it is far from it. My friend asked for a side of steamed vegetables and got a plate of raw veggies . From the service to the food to the hot air as they are too cheap to pay for ac it was just horrible. Dont go here
I ate here a second time after a while, my impression has changed about the place, the first time I got the black bean chicken with their spicy sauce which I liked. This time I got sweet and sour chicken with consomme. The chicken is fried in dough and reminds me of just average chinese food, the consomme is very watery with definitely no real stock in it and not worth getting. Both these dishes were from the lunch menu and cheap at least, I haven't tried the more expensive dishes.
One of the better Indian/Chinese restaurants. I had one of the shrimp dishes, and they gave a generous portion of shrimp. The Singapore noodles as also good, though I would definitely get one of the curries in the house specials section. The only way to get the real Indian/Chinese fusion is by ordering the curries. Also, when the menu says a dish is hot, they really mean it.
