Locksmith was over an our late. No one gave me price upfront. They say it can cost 49$ and up. All he did was remove my door handle which I could do myself, leaving me with no handle on my door and needing to get another locksmith to bring me a handle. Charged 200$ in the end for this mess.

THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!! The prices were fair, the service swift. Will use again should the need arise.

Waited an hour for service and then paid $240 for the guy to pump open my door and unlock the car. Horrible service and ridiculous pricing. Beware.

**Beware** Absolutely terrible service. Locksmith site said they would take 10-15 minutes to arrive. When the locksmith called, he said he would be there in about 20 minutes. He took roughly an hour. I was told the price would be as low as 30 dollars when on the phone. I should explain that my bedroom door got locked accidentally, trapping both my cats inside. It was late at night when I had to call (around 11p). When the Locksmith finally arrived, he told me it would be $250, plus the service fee and tax. So $316, TO OPEN A BEDROOM DOOR!!. He said that he would try two ways, the first without harming the lock. Before I knew it, he broke my lock and my door was open. He was the nicest person until I disputed the charge. He opened the lock in less than 5 minutes. This works out to $3000 an hour. When I called the company, they were extremely rude. "saying that they HAD to get their money". I argued for over 20 minutes until finally they lowered the price. I still ended up with a $260 dollar bill. These people take advantage of people in need of a service. Bottom line is, money should be paid for effort performed. I paid 260 dollars after waiting for an hour and ended up with a broken lock. Don't call these people, just break your door down!!!!

Warning - these guys will try to milk you merciless if you allow them to. They do tell you on the phone their charge is $30 or more plus $15 call charge. I assumed the $30 would be for the easiest of locksmith jobs, which I believe was my case. My front door simple knob lock stopped working and I could not get into the house. Called those guys because of close proximity of their shop and what I thought would be a reasonable charge, despite the warnings I read in the reviews - BIG MISTAKE! I am a handy man and do lots of things around the house, but I never dealt with the jammed lock before, so I wanted to leave it to the professionals. Within seconds of arriving the 'Expert Locksmith Service' guy assessed the situation as hopeless for a repair or some more sophisticated unlocking solution and proposed to drill open the lock. I said ok, then asked about the price. He said $190!!! At this point I started sensing exploitation and flatly refused the continuation of the service. The man went to the car "to make a phone call to the office" and came back with the question "how much I am willing to pay?" Still thinking this work will be somewhat hard or tricky I said $100 all inclusive. Another phone call, and we had an agreement. What came next shocked and angered me with the anger directed at my own stupidity. The guy came with the simple power drill and made two holes one on each end of the key opening in the lock. Then he jammed a screwdriver into the lock and force turned the lock open. It took him less than 30 seconds to do this. I had the same tools in my opened garage and could have done the same cowboy-style operation. So in my case the rate per hour for this service was $10,200, which is $100-$15 (call charge) = $85 per 30 seconds, $85 x 2 = $170 per 1 min, times 60 = $10,200 per hour. Had I paid the originally quoted charge even without taxes and service call charge the rate would have been $22,800 per hour. The bottom line - these guys have no profession code of ethics and will try to exploit the customer, who chances are is in a difficult situation being locked out of somewhere. If you hire them do not agree on the price until you know exactly what work is going to be done and how long it would take. Calculate yourself if it is worth it, shop around more, don't make yourself a victim of dishonest jerks.
