Came today during their open house event to experience face Pilates for the first time ever. I am looking for new things to add to my ‘self-care’ list and I am very happy I chose them for today. It was extremely relaxing. Due to booking during their event, my face Pilates was the express version that did not include 1 or 2 other tools and is double the time (45m). Either way; I will be back. The staff is kind and polite, the place is PRISTINE and the vibe screams ‘take a breath and relax’. Thanks ladies!
I had a great experience at Skincentrix, all the staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere of the spa is very elegant. I had a hydration facial with Helen and she did an amazing job with my sensitive skin, she was super careful while doing the procedure. Will be returning for more treatments!
My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to HydraFacials at Skincentrics for his birthday. His esthetician was Helen, and mine was Hala. My husband had a wonderful experience — he was very relaxed, and I’m thankful for that. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t quite the same. Right off the bat, when I entered the room, the towel that was laid out for me was wet and seemed like it might’ve been used. It also felt too large, so I asked Hala for a new one, which she kindly provided. However, throughout the session, she would knock and immediately enter without waiting for me to respond, which felt a bit uncomfortable. They were also having technical difficulties with their steamer, which I completely understand can happen, but during the session, they had to replace it. The door was left open while they brought in the new steamer, which made me feel exposed. Another concern was that the laundry room was running during my session, and it was quite noisy and disruptive. At one point, someone even walked into the room to grab something while I was mid-treatment, again leaving the door open. That really broke any sense of privacy or relaxation for me — I honestly felt violated and uneasy. Then, after my treatment, Hala told me to take my time getting dressed, so I began to do so. Within a minute or two, she knocked and immediately came in again, saying she needed to start preparing the room for her next appointment. It felt very rushed and inconsiderate, especially since I was still changing. I would have expected her to wait until I had left the room completely before resetting it. Lastly, as I was about to leave, my esthetician opened the door while a male staff member (I believe the Botox specialist) was standing right outside. Again, it made me feel uncomfortable and exposed. Overall, while my husband had a great time — and I’m really glad he did — my experience was far from relaxing. I usually look forward to facials for peace and rejuvenation, but between the constant door openings, noise, and overall lack of privacy, it wasn’t the serene experience I hoped for. If I do come back, I would consider booking with a different esthetician, and I really encourage management to re-evaluate their privacy protocols and room turnover process. Guests deserve that time to feel comfortable, calm, and uninterrupted — that’s what makes a spa visit truly restorative. Update! The owner of the salon called me and was very kind. She called me that same day to apologize and wanted to make things right. Just came back from my complementary facial from Helen and it was worth it! Will come back just for her.
