Been here a few times and normally the food is good. However today the pasta was swimming in oil. I personally find the food needs salt and pepper however that’s my taste. The level of oil used today is why I’m writing this review based on this visit I wouldn’t go back.
I’ve been here several times pre COVID and I thought it was good generally then. My last visit ~ not so much. The soup was just over half full and when I asked the staff about it she said it was “full”. Clearly it was not. Change your bowls then because that is just a bad look. I normally get the sandwich which seems to be something they do well but made the mistake of getting the pasta. It was a sticky sloppy sauce and over cooked penne. I just didn’t get a vibe of friendliness or appreciation. If you want great value in a pasta take out place with super nice people who are invested in the business check out “The Pasta Corner” at 438 Gibraltar dr Mississauga. You will experience old school customer service that is very rare to find anymore. They are a family run unit and I’ve been going there for many years. I see lots of repeat customers.
Best soup and sandwich of my life. Quiet and comfortable dining room. I'd be spending nearly the same $ for a timmys or wendys. Absolute pleasure. Eat here.
Chef Stefano is the right one for the most demanding palates, he artfully combines the cuisine of the North-Eastern Italian territory (Venice area) adapting it to the North American one or cooking dishes exactly as they are offered in Italy using many of the ingredients directly from the boot. Expert cook also with regard to fish, coming from a family that currently runs a fish market in Italy. If what you are looking for is true Northern Italian cuisine, Stefano is number one !
Grateful to have such fresh and healthy meals prepared by the most friendly and accommodating manner — be it for a quick take-out, indoor or patio visit with friends or custom catered event.
Ordered from here for the first time through Uber Eats. I ordered the Urban Vegan, Vegan Soup and a Garden Salad. Let me just say that I will be ordering from here on a regular basis. The Urban Vegan was absolutely delicious! The soup was well seasoned and salad was great as well. Everything was fresh and exceeded my expectations. I was also impressed by the portion sizes of everything I ordered.
So I went to this restaurant when it first opened years ago. During that trip we ate there 4 times in one week. Went back there last night; been holding on to my craving for that long, and I’ll can say that this restaurant does not disappoint! The food, the ambiance, the service, even the washroom deco is simply on POINT. We all had pasta; lamb pasta, tomato sauce pasta in the cheese barrel, meat sauce pasta... anyhow, don’t stress about choosing just order something and you will be taken straight to Italy! Then go back a few days later and continue the taste test and you’ll understand what I’m saying! Ps: the owners are Italian, so no explanation needed! Enjoy... and while you enjoy I’ll envy you over and over again until I go back in May! (Reserve in advance!!!!)
It's a nice setting, they make your food right in front of you. My first time here. Had a Chicken Ceasar salad that was made with prochutto. Overall pleasant experience, will return again. One thing that threw me off is the amount of round rocks they have right next to the entrance. I guess it's supposed to be decorative but it could be a hazard. They need to get rid of that.
Fantastic quality food here. Specialty sandwiches, salads and soups. It is more expensive than a lot of other lunch options but in my opinion well worth the extra cost for the quality.
Pricey but quality of food is great. Good alternative to the regular "healthy" choices and in a location perfect for those of us in offices that don't want to travel to far. Gets busy so if u want to dine in get there early.
I remember this place from the day it opened its doors. Panini and a soup/salad combo was $10. Right now it is $15 with the soup twice smaller than it used to be. In fact, the soup cup is shrinking every time I visit this place. We used to order it for lunches at work, but not any longer. "Charlottes Homemade Goodies" on Traders Blvd way better place.
The salads are amazing here. Everything is fresh and you can pick your own ingredients. The place is also very clean and has a pleasantly casual, ambience. The only downside is it's a bit more expensive.
