Called the store to confirm a return before driving back since I live far away and the owner said it was ok. The next day I drove down and she said it had been too long.
Visit this store quite often. This morning went in to buy kitchen garbage bags on sale.Three team members were standing taking at the entrance. Not one said good morning or asked if I needed assistance. After looking for these bags . I finally asked. Had to even provide product code for them. After a brief check. Was told they are showing four boxes in stock. However they cant find them. These bags are listed in there flyer!!! The store was empty when I came in. Won't shop here again.
I had such a great experience at the store today. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I came by for a pickup and called once I arrived, asking if someone could bring the package out to my car since I had a baby in the car seat and couldn’t easily go inside. Two gentlemen came out, not only bringing the package but also helping me fit it into the car as it was quite large. Huge thanks to the amazing team!
Just bought a charcoal BBQ online and was delivered to store. I not only received email that BBQ was in (and received on time), but got a call from a very nice man naed Cameron who called to tell me. I truly appreciated the added personal service. I ended up calling Cameron back to ask if they could assemble it and they said they could. They neer said how long it would tae, but expected it to be done within a couple of days. I couldn't believe it when they called a couple of hours later and said it was ready! That was amazing. Apparently Cameron put it together. So many thanks Cameron for all your help!! I love Applewood Home Hardware. Still has a personal home town feeling
The staff was helpful and informative. But the items like tower fan and camping chair, I went the re for, unfortunately were out of stock. They ordered them to fill up the shelves, but it would take a little bit longer time.
Just called to ask about renting a carpet cleaner because the internet said they had one. No they do not!! Good thing I called. Nice employee gave me a few suggestions of where to look and gave me phone numbers to make things easier. I appreciated the help.
Excellent service and good sales. The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and approachable. Personalized service is easily accessible here unlike at the big box stores.
