I don't think I'll be shopping here again anytime soon. My most recent order and followup interaction changed my opinion of what I initially thought was a great hobby shop. I ordered 6 of the same item which I happened to find at over half the price in another shop. I had a gift card for GH that I always forget to use whenever I make a purchase there so I figured why not use it on this occasion. I figured I'd request a price match based on GH advertised policy. The price match was accepted and I proceeded to place my order with GH. A few days later I receive an email with stating that they can now only honour the price match on one item and not all 6 due to the other retailers in stock numbers changing. Nowhere in Great Hobbies policy does it mention that the number of order items must equal the amount of items stocked at another retailer, also if the ordering process been smoother and faster on a subpar site, my order would have been filled based on the number of items on hand at the other retailer. I was emailed and asked if I wanted to proceed with ordering the one item or if I wanted to cancel my order entirely. I ended up cancelling and ordering from the other retailer. The one item is presently on the way and the other 5 will be shipped to me when back in stock. That is how a business should be run. Far too many business nowadays have little to no customer service and wonder why there are no customers shopping at their stores.
awesome place great customer service, Doug went above and beyond to help me find a part that would fit my aftermarket rc car he found a peice that would fit and even answered all my questioned I had about using a stronger battery for it. such a cool place huge selection with a warehouse. Definitely worth the visit thanks again Doug!
Excellent store. Great selection of things to choose from. So much I wanted to buy. The only problem I had was that most items did not appear to have prices on them. I didn't want to be hauling stuff up constantly. I ended up only picking up an online order and nothing else. Will definitely be back when I have specific things to get.
I would totally recommend this shop to anyone new or experienced. The customer service is incredible. Dylan helped me out with a bunch of things about my rc car I was unsure about and made it super easy to understand. Great hobby shop!!!
Recently purchased my LOSI Micro-B from these guys and have been popping back in for parts since as they are nearby. Happy that they almost always have what I need in stock, they have a huge inventory so I usually just walk in without checking their site for stock. 10/10 hobby store. Paint selection is a little thin but I usually get my stuff from the craft store anyway.
This is an amazing place for RC, model kits, and paints. It has amazing variety, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, this is the location with the warehouse, so if you shop here, you can get stuff that is out of stock in most other locations.
Fantastic rc hobby shop. It's one of the best in Canada. Great location, lots of free parking, beautiful atmosphere and kind staff. Online purchasing is up to par, and the inventory count is always correct. There are lots of options here for airplanes, cars and their related electronics. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work guys!
Good spot for all your R/C needs. Surprised to see a good selection of FPV gear as well. A definite go to when you need something quick.

Great place for RC parts.. Also have a great selection of Drones of all sizes.. Great staff very friendly place. It's worth driving 55 klm from home to go there, but you can also shop online and they offer free delivery over $100 purchase..
If you are into model rocketry this is probably the best stocked place I have been to (I've checked roughly 6 others in the GTA). Super friendly staff let me shop peacefully and answered questions when they came up. I was here on 08/25/18 and just wanted to commend the staff and selection available. Thanks again, I will definitely be back!
Well rounded Hobbie shop, awesome inventory and hop up parts in stock.. the guy at the front counter wasn't the kinka hobbie enthusiast i expect from a store like this but had a good experience with the other staff.
