I was hoping for a more upscale experience than this store delivers, perhaps on par with Summerhill Market, Pusateris or even Fiesta Farms. For a Lorne Park store, my expectations were higher.
Love their take home pasta meals, marinared chicken kabobs at the meat counter are so tender and flavors are awesome, must mention their homeade roast beef at the deli the redder the better.
Regular shoppers here. Overall, it is a great place, little pricey but convenient. I am leaving the review in hopes a manager will read this. Several times...the flattened bbq chicken... your use of salt is absurd! Take it easy. It''s inedible.
I just returned rancid chicken wings that I bought yesterday. The cashier told me that meat needs to be cooked right away. No apologies. This is the second time I’ve had to return meat. Always keep the receipt if you buy meat here.
Just bought some flowers and had a bad experience with one of the cashiers with short grey hair . I didn’t want my flowers to get squished on the conveyor belt so I held them up with price and barcode showing so she could type it in/ scan them. The cashier however, was quite rude and gave me very unnecessary sass telling me to hold still as if I was shaking the flowers at her and I told her what the price was for one of them( which was evidently showing ) and she scoffed at me and grabbed them from me. She could of asked politely for me to move closer or hand them to her. Very aggressive attitude and unfriendly. Not good customer service. Never had any issues here before
Best vegetables in the GTA, extremely clean environment. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We have never had any negative incidents. The staff are there to ensure that all COVID-19 protocols are in place and are very accommodating to all customers, especially seniors.
Love this store. Are the pantry items a little pricey - yes, but the produce, meat and bakery sections make up for it! More than a few specialty items and standard brands for anything else you might need. Their hours are spectacular for a local supermarket, and the convenience can’t be beat. They have an amazing garden center and hot food ready to go in a pinch. Staff is friendly and the place is clean with appealing food displays and higher quality produce/meat than you typically find at the chains. Hope every local resident supports this store and realizes how lucky we are to have it!
