Our furnace died after 25 years of reliable service. I contacted Honestars and posted my request to have the furnace replaced. Our existing furnace was a Carrier - 100K BTU I received several interest within hours from contractors. At the samtime, researched the best furnaces in Canada. Carrier overall was always at the top. This led me to searched for Carrier dealers nearby. EvamCanada Inc popped up. The reviews were very good. I then made an online request. The following morning I reviewed all my responses and booked appointments. Ed was the first contractor to respond. He was very professional. He explained all the Carrier models and recommended the model that best meet our needs. Our hot water tank was a rental and wanted it out. He recommended a replacement. Explained the returned process and offered to deliver it the rental company. Several other contractors came and offered different products. Some were not competitive and were ruled out. We finally settled on three contractors but selected Edam because of our experience with Carrier. Ed and his contractors showed up on the schedule. They worked on the hot water tank and furnace and finished by the end of the day. We decided to replace the AC as well. We are very happy with the work done. ED has always demonstrated excellent professionalism and updated us regularly during the installation. We do not hesitate to recommend him to be your contractor of choice for your HVAC system.
After doing so much of research and taking so many quotes I went with Evam Canada. And thank God. I am now so much happy and satisfied. The first day when Ed came to my house I sensed what a great gentleman he is. But his engagement towards the project and his amazing customer service really amazed me. From getting the quotes to getting my heat pump installed he was there at every stage and helping me at every step whenever I needed any. I recommend everyone Evam Canada.
My furnace had problems with pressure switch and I talked to Ed around noon.He would come around 3:00 pm. I called him after 3:00 p.m he said his van broke down and wait for CAA. The next cold morning I had to come someone else to fix the furnace. Watch out for the broken van!
Ed serviced my furnace. He answered all my questions well. Very courteous and honest service. I will be calling them again when needed in the future and I would recommend Evam without hesitation.
Great service! Of course, when days start getting hotter, my AC unit stopped working. The Evam technician came over and found the issue right away (luckily nothing major). He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We’ll be able to sleep cool tonight. Good rates. Strongly recommend.
