I attended a wedding over the summer, and could not believe the transformation of the venue. My brother is getting married this year and just had to find out who did the decor. I reached out to paras events and was put in touch with Ritika. They had provided me with multiple storyboards and countless revisions. Such a genuine team and they’ve made it so easy for me to help plan my brothers wedding. Cant wait to see the beautiful decor vision come to life.
I had a horrible experience working with Paras. I will start of with the positive in that Ritika is a lovely individual. She is patient, warm and kind. But that is about the only positive I have to go on. I cannot in good faith recommend Paras for any events beyond very basic decor requirement. I feel my wedding event and consequently all photos from the event were destroyed due to Paras's terrible decor. There was a lack of creativity in design, inability to work with a given budget and massive oversight in communication. I kept getting cookie cutter design formulas from them which they had used time and time again for other events. Despite numerous discussions/rounds of feedback I could not elevate the design from what they kept suggesting which lead to delay in me committing to a design mock up. I ended up pulling out of my other event with them and only went with 1 event given I had already paid a deposit. When I asked to work within a reduced budget and cut one aspect of the decor and tried to keep all other aspects intact (I cut the tabletop), they slashed/downgraded entire decor of my event without my knowledge to make up their lack of profit that they wont make for the tabletop. Which meant there was no elaborate backdrop, the statement pieces were not there and no other discussed items were there except what was rented from their inventory. Not sure where the budget allocated went, because what I got probably cost less than 1/3 of what I paid. I rocked up to my own event to find all flowers were fake (not at all communicated to me) I was in tears. My photographers were trying to hide items of the decor so they would not ruin the photos. There were plain cushions without any covers placed in the lounge area. There were no smaller touches as discussed for any of the lounge set up. They told me on the day of the event that there were no chairs rented and there is nowhere for guests to sit and that I was supposed to have looked into this already. Lets assume its something I should have looked into, why did they never asked me about whether it was ready and all good to go much before the day of the event? For context I had 4 total wedding events and became very familiar with what can be achieved for what budget, and in comparison to the event done by paras, my other events had a much much superior result for the same budget when I had gone with a different decor company. I also understand people tend to have a bias toward writing negative reviews, but I have written the positive review where I thought it was deserved. I don't think people should go with Paras unless they were willing to engage in basic decor, a lot of micromanaging and feedback, and if they are ok with their vendors not being invested in the quality of work they put out/put their name on. After the wedding I had a phone call with ritika not for anything but for principles sake to debrief about what had happened. No fair outcome was reached and she deflected all blame and did not take accountability for a single thing. Writing the review publicly as I have nothing to hide and am describing my honest experience, weddings are very sentimental to couples and I wouldn't want someone to go through what I had to go through.
Working with Paras and his team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! We had hired Paras for the decor for both our ceremony and reception and he went above and beyond in delivering! From the start, he worked with us to help shape our vision of the event and executed it to perfection. He was very professional to work with and promptly responded to any of our questions or concerns. Our guests repeatedly commented to us on the beautiful decor on the Mandap and inside for the reception the stunning table and room arrangements. Is a MUST hire for any event decor needs.
Paras was a joy to work with for our wedding events! He was extremely helpful when we needed to postpone our wedding twice during the pandemic and was always super flexible, accommodating, and worked within our budget. He was always speedy in his response and shared his elegant vision with us throughout the process. He gave us insights into decor design and elements that complemented our ideas and carefully and seamlessly crafted a beautiful event space for us!
