10/10 customer service with online orders! I had a little issue with order and Ekam helped rectify the situation quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend ordering from this small business as they have amazing selection and service! Thanks again!

The staff at this place are amazingly patient & honest. I spent multiple visits and many hours deliberating over which machine & grinder to buy even after doing lots of research on line beforehand as well. . .ultimately deciding on fully manual options that initially I was able to master the batista skills to operate but ultimately realized I didn't have the patience for perfecting the extractions early mornings when I just wanted a coffee! When I called them back, fully embarrassed.... i expected them to say I was out of luck but they were so understanding and concerned as to why I was so frustrated but after my explanation they allowed me to trade it for a fully automatic machine. They have convinced me that this was the best palace I could have found and their warranty policies cover my machine for 3 years and they repair them

I emailed them from the United States and knowing I was probably not going to buy from them, they took the time to answer me and direct me to an easier source in the US. Only an establishment that values excellent customer service would do this. Thank you Samuel Kim!

While not the largest showroom for coffee products in Mississauga(that goes to Beanwise), Espresso Planet has more coffee maker models. Staff are friendly, and go out of their way to attempt to help the customer. Staff give the impression that they know what they are doing with regards to coffee, and, with a large selection of in store products as well as a dazzling array of online products, Espresso Planet is a must visit for not only coffee equipment, but specialty coffee enthusiasts as well.

I had a predatory experience with EspressoPlanet recently. I purchased an espresso machine that totaled close to $2300 online and the machine was dead on arrival. I spent the better part of the day trying to see if I could fix the machine myself without opening the unit. This was not possible, and this manufacturing problem was common in other machines of the same model. Upon reaching out to EspressoPlanet, they told me to return the machine in person with no offer to ship the machine back. The box was 75 lbs. This was the first red flag. I proceed to email them to ask if it was possible to get a refund when I return it. No response, second red flag. Wanting to just get a working coffee maker after spending thousands, I decided to play nice and drove almost an hour there to drop off the machine. As soon as I walked into the store, the owner of the business asks me “So you want store credit?”. Did not even introduce himself as the owner, provide his name, or anything about him really. That was the third red flag. Since it was a weekend, I was sent home empty-handed as their technician was not in. He claimed that I would get VIP service and that I would get a potential discount if I was interested in upgrading the machine. I got VIP service alright; I received service that I did not even think was possible. When their technician confirmed that their machine was indeed dead on arrival, I expected someone from their sales team to reach out to me shortly after to talk about potential options. They did not. I had to call the store and get their sales team’s email and reach out to them myself. This was the fourth red flag. Upon reaching out to them, the options were to either take back the now repaired defective unit or to pay them the full price to upgrade to a newer version of the machine. The owner claimed that me pressing the power button and seeing the machine not working counts as using the machine, and he does not accept returns for used machines. Oh, and that I had to drive there again to pick up my machine. I suppose my time is worthless to them. I guess I am undeserving of customer service. To add insult to injury, the owner stated that he “would like to test the machine” before I picked it up. As if I was too incompetent to read an instructions manual or that I sabotaged their machine in the first place. At this point I could not help but feel offended and taken advantage of. Upon expressing my feelings of being slighted, the owner responded with “I’m really sorry you feel that way”. I had to open a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Curious, and honestly naïve of me to not do so prior to spending thousands of dollars, I decided to look up the store’s Google reviews. Unsurprisingly, the owner has his employees intimidating customers to deter shoplifting. This is the mastermind we are dealing with I suppose. I have seen more faithful business being conducted at the local corner store. I sure do love being disrespected and extorted by my local businesses.

I recommended Espresso Planet to my sister when she had a leaky brewhead on her Quickmill Silvano. The machine was fixed after only a few days and for the mere cost of a $15 gasket. A week or so later our Phillips espresso machine at the office stopped working. I dropped it off and unbelievably it was ready the next day, $10 seals replaced. Works like a charm now. Most other shops would take weeks. John is awesome. I highly recommend this shop for honesty and great service.

Bought a Bonavita coffee maker here years ago (BV1800) after a lot of research, and we were blown away by the speed and quality of the brew. It's been going strong for many years and we're looking at getting another for another location because we're now spoiled for regular coffee makers! I appreciate that this place sells them and is knowledgable about the products.

Thank you for your time to share your experience. We are glad you found the espresso machine that works for your coffee needs. Today's Super Automatic Espresso Machines can produce Espresso Based Specialty Coffees almost with the same Quality compared to Semi Automatic Espresso Machines but with less of an effort, no messy countertop and much quicker. Best wishes, Espresso Planet Team
