We recently had our entry closet designed and installed by Komandor. We love it! it’s a catch-all closet with washer/dryer, household supplies and a bi-level coat rack. After working with one of their designers, Louise, we were able to put every inch to good use. We’re so happy with the end result. Not to mention the doors… gorgeous! Beautiful, smooth motion. Highly recommend this company.
The team did an outstanding job on my desk setup, with every detail meticulously handled, resulting in an impressive final product. Initial communication issues caused a delay, which was frustrating, but the quality of the work made up for it. A special shoutout to Steve, who went above and beyond despite personal challenges. His dedication and assistance with my complex desk setup and cable organization were exceptional. Additionally, my designer Bhumika did an exceptional job designing the entire project, and it looks really great. Her creative vision and attention to detail elevated the final outcome to another level. Had a new door installed by Komandor Canada and couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process — from the initial concept and design to delivery and installation. The team was professional, communicative, and truly committed to quality. The installers went above and beyond, working around some unexpected design challenges in the space to ensure the door was installed perfectly and up to the highest standards. The finished product looks fantastic and feels solid. Highly recommend Komandor Canada for their craftsmanship and excellent service.
My wife and I were looking for a sliding door to install in Den. We were visited several companies and compared and decided to be "KOMANDOR". Designer Gabriel visited my home in person and designed and built the door based on actual measurements. Gabriel produced the doors under the best conditions for the structure of the home, and installer Jay installed them one by one in the process of delivering and installing them. It was perfect from the beginning to the end of the installation while checking the very fine height and gap. He even added a very detailed finish and explanation. We, as well as our child, could have a very satisfying sliding door.
Overall, my experience with Komandor was satisfactory. The installer was excellent but the designer was not. My experience with the installer, Daniel, was stellar. He made sure that everything was completed correctly. Daniel and his coworker did a wonderful job removing the old doors, patching the holes, and installing the new doors and shelving. I was supposed to remove these items before they arrived, but I forgot to do so. Komandor was nice enough to waive the charge for this. I accepted full responsibility for the error, and made sure that I corrected the situation appropriately with the installer. Kudos to Daniel and his partner for going the extra mile. It was very much appreciated. My experience with the designer, Louise, was fine until I decided to make a change, which she misunderstood. Despite the fact that I emailed her and had a telephone conversation about the change, the final plans for the closets didn’t accurately reflect the desired change. Luckily, Daniel was able to make part of the desired change happen. However, the end product is still not exactly what was expected. After expressing my concerns to Louise, she didn’t take responsibility for her error. I felt that my concerns were brushed off. Considering I payed $11K for three closets, I feel that someone from Komandor should have taken the time to correct the situation in some way. After reaching out to her post-installation, I received no reply whatsoever. Leaving a customer with no resolution is unacceptable. I’m not sure how Komandor can allow designers to ignore the concerns of customers. In general, I’m happy with the quality of the product and the quality of the work. I’d highly recommend Daniel because of the outstanding job he did, and his ability to make changes and adapt the design to what was excepted. I’d recommend Komandor to anyone who wishes to spend a bit more money for a better quality custom product, but I’d definitely opt for a different designer. I feel that designers, especially senior designers, should be much more thorough and detail-oriented. A mistake like this should not happen when you pay a premium price.
