Great place and meat selection, prices are fare and the service is excellent. One or two attendants speak Spanish and they know well about the cuts and selections. The longaniza (kind of Mexican chorizo but not cured) is just the best for barbequing and tacos topped with salsa onion and cilantro. My husband and I visited The Central Butcher in Mississauga for the first time, traveling all the way from Toronto—and it was absolutely worth it! The service was outstanding and the quality of the meat exceeded our expectations. Carla and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great recommendations for our backyard barbecue. Their hospitality and expertise made a big difference, and they’ve definitely earned our loyalty. We’ll be back very soon!
Very friendly staff. The gentleman was Mexican and he was great. Prices were amazing, we got the spring box for $114 and you can make substitutions which is awesome. Wish they advertised if their beef is grass fed and pasture raised though, as this is important. When are you going to mention where your products come from? And if they are 100% grass fed and pasture raised? No one seems to know the answer. I have to change my rating. Staff are great. But no one knows where the meat comes from. And it’s not advertised anywhere. This is always a bad sign.
