Unfriendly service. Overpriced. I come here for the bone broth which is now very overpriced. Twice now there has been mold inside the lid of the jar after opening less than a week after purchase. Will not be back.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon with another person. The store was completely empty, no customers were there. All the staff were in the back of the store. I browsed the entire store without a single person acknowledging my presence with a "hello" or even a glance in my direction. I selected a drink and proceeded to wait at the cash register. I continued to wait while someone from the back chatted with and served another customer, who had come in after me, at the butcher counter. My partner asked to speak to whoever is in charge or the owner and the man, who cashed me out for the drink, said he is the owner. My partner told the man how we had been treated in the store and the man offered no help. Given that I only purchased a bottled drink, this review is of the lack of customer service and care shown to us not of the products sold there. I will never return. There is another butcher shop on Lakeshore, just around the corner, called Dry Aged (104 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5H 1E8) and it is 100% better for their service and their product is excellent.

I bought the cold cuts on Monday with an expiration date of August 31, but they were already rotten just three days later. It’s expensive here and felt like a complete waste of money. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I won’t be coming back again.
I honestly don't know what has happened to this place, but our experience was absolutely terrible and I need to warn others. We were drawn in by the good old reviews, but what we were served was a health hazard. Our first bad meal was this Monday. The steak sandwiches we bought were a complete disaster. They were packed with low quality, gristly meat that you couldn't even chew, we had to spit out mouthfuls. My wife's pasta from that day was also clearly old and stale. We made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt and went back today, Thursday. This time, we got a quesadilla, and I am not exaggerating when I say a fly fell out of the box when we opened it. It was sickening. The quesadilla itself was just as bad: old, cold ground beef with almost no cheese, tasting only of cheap taco spice. The pita is rock hard, not because of sitting on the stove but because it's expired and it was undercooked. It was the worst quesadilla I've ever had in my life. To serve food like this is shameful. This place is coasting on a memory of what it used to be, while serving food that's inedible and contaminated. Don't waste your money or risk getting sick. We will never be back.
Great mom and pop shop! My go to place for my meats. Meat is always fresh fruits and vegetables fresh as well. They have a hot table with different tastes throughout the week. They also do catering a must try if you ever need and event done
I haven't even been inside the store and I'm already giving it one star. I'm having a party on Thursday and I wanted wagyu steaks. I called once, no answer, second time he picked up and hung up immediately, then a third time he sounded annoyed and essentially told me "well it's better if you come in I cant do this over the phone" and hung up. Very disrespectful and he didn't even know how much food I was gonna buy from him. Oh well I'll just go somewhere else! DONT GO HERE.
