We only stayed for 48 hours but the experience was lovely. Really nice wide docks, staff helped with docking, nice people, and facilities. Definitely one of the top clubs all around from our visit around the lake, that and NYC are fairly comparable. Uber is around $15 to downtown or a lovely 1 hour park walk. You can also rent scooters.
Waited over an hour for the wrong order! Not a single waiter at the restaurant came by our table the entire time we were there even after several attempts waving them down! We had to go up and order at the bar. Waited another 30mins and nothing, went back to the bar and asked for update and was told 5 minutes. ANOTHER 10mins back to the bar asked again, and waited there 5 minutes for the food. When I received my food half the order is missing. I pay money to be a member and am paying for the food so why is the service worse than a Harvey’s. DO BETTER TRAINING YOUR STAFF!
It must be checked urgently and something must be done. There are hundreds of dead fish in the water... It is very sad, I think they released a prohibited substance into the water. Measures must be taken immediately.
Port Credit Yacht Club is located at 115 Lakefront Promenade, Mississauga, ON L5E 3G6. It is beside the Lakefront Promenade Park. It is lovely to see those private yachts sailing the lake. There is always a Free Dance in this area every Friday night from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM or sometimes it goes to late night. So, come, relax and enjoy!
I visited the Lakefront Promenade during Independence weekend. I was speculating about joining the Port Credit Yatch club. I have a few gripes. The docks are crowded. You cannot fit any size foot over 100 feet. Looks like a lot of 45 footers.. the club house itself is old, outdated and dainty. Not in the slightest bit contemporary. The other problem is that it's too close to the general public which is problematic if you're bothered by noisy locals from the opposing lakefront promenade park... When you are paying for not only storage but privacy. I'm glad they have a protective gate for security and a boost of confidence while we're on the water. The last thing here would be the size of the ports that are currently there. It is a very small Yatch club.. If you are putting this in comparison with standard docks in Ft Lauderdale they are incomparable. You will see mega yachts stretching far over 100 feet, while still having plenty of room. While here, they are cramped and together so they can sell more lot space. So the bottom line is, if you want to see what the average person envisions as a "Yatch" and "Yatch club" then head to Ft Lauderdale. However, if you are looking for a greater starter club this is a great one for young professionals looking to get some sea legs. But just be wary there will be zero chance of a mega Yatch docking there.. I am not going to lie I was disappointed and expected more...
My wife and family went for dinner to celebrate her birthday. The food was excellent. The service was great and we were able to sit outside on the patio on a warm night
Great club for the family or for a couple. Amazing learn to sell program for kids and adults. Associate memberships for people who don't have a boat but would like to get onto a crew.
