The place doesn’t look that appealing from outside, but don’t be deceived by it! It’s cozy and nice inside! They have enough seating, great desserts and delicious coffee. Give it a try!
Absolutely lovely shop filled with beautiful display cakes and so many cute cookie ideas! Staff is super friendly and the owner, Shannon, is just brilliant! Their lime meringue tart and pistachio mousse cake were to die for, so much so that it was only at the last bite I thought “damn I forgot to take a photos!”. Just an excuse to go back and try more! really want to grab those conversation heart cookies next time!
Shannon has done cakes for all the special occasions in our family so far. This year she most recently did a beautiful soccer ball themed cake for my son's 2nd birthday. Not only was it gorgeous, it was delicious too!
Not your average donut shop. Gold Cherry Bakery is a lively little place that offers European style pastries, cakes, chocolates and coffee. I stop there in the mornings after dropping off my son at school and get my caffeine boost. Owned by a charming Ukrainian couple. Highly recommend it to all my friends unless they made New Year resolutions to lose weight. The pasties here are very hard to resist. Deee-lectable!
I wish i knew about this heaven bakery place sooner. This is hands down one of the best bakery places I have ever been to. And OMG I had the best Tiramisu ever. I have never been to Italy but I can bet you anything that they can't make it better than the one I had today! Thank you so much it cheered me right up exactly what I needed. I am going to recommend this heaven to all my friends, co-workers and family! Thank you and wish you lots of success! I wish you guys open another one near my house so I can come eat your tiramisu everyday and I wouldn't mind gaining weight that's how much I loved it.
If you can’t come to Paris, petite Paris has come to your neighbourhood via Gold Cherry Bakery. Everything here screams Parisian. I walked into Gold Cherry Bakery within a week of coming back from Paris and was no longer sad... I am yet to taste everything on the menu but every pastry looked exquisite. Great desserts to get to show off to your friends for an elegant and whimsical dinner party. Coffee was very good and this layered white “Parisian Heaven” pastry I can’t remember the name of was fresh and yummy. I also understand they bake their own fresh croissants. Lets support this starting out yummy gem in our neighbourhood!
