Probably the best inventory out of every Retro game store I've ever been too. Picked up some great games here. But I have two issues. Some of the prices are way higher than prices from other stores. 200 dollars for the Simpsons hit and run. All of the good games cost almost as much as a brand new factory-sealed modern game. This wouldn't be so bad if they didn't give you insultingly low trade-in values. I traded in two titles and I got 25 bucks. One of them was Wii sports, which they sell for around 40. I got a copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii from here. The disc was scratched in a way where I couldn't progress past World 1-1, so while I am happy they gave me a new, clean, disc, I still wish they checked their discs by looking at them instead of popping them into the console and seeing if the console registers it. All in all, a nearly perfect retro game store with very few flaws, all of which are simple fixes.
Best store for classic games. Guys behind the counter are super chill. Was able to trade in my xbox 360 with no issues, and they always got what i'm looking for. 5 stars
Not bad but not easy to find nice little store lots help and if ur look for that one peace they might have it I went in and two thing I been looking for found them good prices I say safe place to shop if like me
We were turning in quite a few games w/ a couple systems and the attendant (who's name I forgot to grab, my bad) sorted through everything quite fast and offered us a great trade option. He's repairing a few items too and worked with us for a return time that fits our schedule :) We were in and out in no time, thanks king
I happened to be in Toronto for work and so I decided to hang out with a pal and do some game hunting for a few days and he insisted we visit the king, the absolute legend, Kamal over at We Got Gamez. I was absolutely blown away. For starters his store is like a museum featuring not only an obscene amount of amazing inventory, but a mind boggling amount of retro stuff on display. As a fella who has been collecting games for more than 30 years and who owns an entire (yes EVERY game) SNES library I do not say this lightly but his store is an absolute temple to gaming. We were just in there to do some browsing, and ended up talking with Kamal for over an hour about everything from life to business to games to the awesome mode7 graphics of the super nintendo. The entire time we were there (it was a sorta snowy, crummy rainy day and a bit slow) I watched him offer kind and thoughtful attention to every customer who came in and their attitude clearly reflected that they understood they were appreciated. If I didn't live in California this would be my go to game shop. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend just wandering the aisles and taking in all of the amazing pieces on display. From kiosks to superbrites to literally EVERY rare snes and nes game on display it was absolutely brilliant. Thanks my dude!
The atmosphere is awesome. The owner of the store is amazing always cheerful and happy, he always makes everyone feel welcome and makes sure his customers leave and come into the store with a smile on their face and laughing. The selection of games is just out of this world, the owner really goes above and beyond for his customers and is a very fair man when it comes down to business. Overall the homie is the plug for all your gaming needs, I highly recommend this store for all your gaming wants and needs 10/10?
Needed help with my new DS XL and Alex was really helpful and guided me to what to buy and what not to buy. Not trying to oversell things to me. I left with everything I needed and more knowledge on the item I was buying
