My family doctor referred me to Dr Gindi and I went to him a couple of weeks ago. He was very informative, took the time to explain things to me, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. He also gave me some general travel tips and reading material. I would strongly recommend his services.
Dr.Gindi took the time to explain the vaccines and medications I needed based on my travel destination, and answered all of my questions patiently. I never felt rushed, and I appreciated how thorough they were in making sure I was fully prepared and protected for my trip.
Like some other reviewers have already pointed out, the policies here definitely need to be changed. Asking for sensitive credit card information over the phone just to book an appointment feels really unsafe and archaic, and the flat $20 cancellation fee (which I wasn't told about ahead of time) just adds salt in the wound. I hate leaving negative reviews, and I'd like to think that both the secretary and the doctor are trying their best, but I was left feeling a little exploited. I really hope the clinic improves their policies and strives to communicate them more clearly in the future.
I read the reviews - happy to hear the doctor is helpful and friendly. Sadly the receptionist is extremely rude. And a consultation fee paid over the phone at the time of booking is unheard of and quite frankly unethical. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bon voyage!
I have visited this clinic today and was seen by Dr. Gindi. He is great 10/10 very kind and generous. They accommodated me after hours based on my needs. Their fee is reasonable and even cheaper. * *"Dr. Gindi ***was fantastic! He took the time to explain all the vaccines I needed for my trip to KSA and even gave me tips on staying healthy while traveling. Highly recommend!"* **For the Receptionist**: *"The receptionist was so kind and efficient! She helped me fill out my forms quickly and made sure I had all the information I needed before my appointment. Great experience!"* Even Pharmacy women was also efficient and helpful.
When you book an appointment there is a cancellation fee within any time frame, even when given plenty of days notice. No where is this stated on the website nor is it mentioned upon booking the appointment. Overall customer service wasn’t pleasant at all, would not recommend booking here.
Worst service provider ever. I booked an appointment with them and they asked me to pay the fee upfront and I did; which btw is $98 and I found out later that there are other providers who are much more reasonably priced. Anyways, even at the time of booking the appointment the receptionist (she refused to give me her name) was rude, but I needed to see someone and let it slide. Unfortunately, my son was sleeping and I didn’t think I could make the appointment - I called to see what the other alternatives are (eg phone appointment, rescheduling etc) and the receptionist was so hostile and rude. Instead of helping she mocked when I asked for alternatives (eg ‘we have been doing this for 30 yrs and people bring their babies’, ‘you can wake your baby up, put him in the car seat and bring him here’). So frustrating! I mean that’s not an alternative is it, smarty? Your job is to help, not hinder!! I have called my pediatrician who gave me the recommendation regarding my experience and she will no longer to recommending this place. Absolutely pathetic!
