This is a simple no frills authentic barbecue restaurant located in the Grabts mall. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and authentic. I chose the roast pork and roast duck with rice combo. It came with a side of delicious veggies and a soup. Fulfilling and satisfying, I will be back again soon! Great meal!
I bought one whole roasted duck today. It is so tender and delicious. My two kids almost ate it all. I definitely buy more soon. and also great service.
The quality of the food had decreased. I had purchased bbq pork and roasted pork to bring home. When I brought it home, I realized there's a weird smell and it's not edible. I had to throw it away. A waste of money.
Very DISHONEST! If i i can give a 0 star i would.... i came to this BBQ place a few times and found this place decent and friendly. However, the other day, i bought BBQ pork from them raving how this is a pretty good place to my parents....when i got home we found what was given to me was the pig's neck area (which had mainly fat) EVEN THOUGH I paid for the rib price and I saw thats the part he was cutting. He switched it when i was paying for the item behind the counter. And to top it off, the pork skin was tough as if the pig was either re-fryed or from yesterday. Though i may be a irregular customer, this type of dishonest practice is unacceptable, especially if you are charging me full price for the rib which is costlier. Unfortunately i will not be going back there again.
Finally, Mississauga has a really good Chinese BBQ pork restaurant. The barbecued pork was very delicious, not too salty or too sweet, and the meat was very fresh. Will be visiting here often.
Ordered the Char siu half lean half fat. Got super lean Char siu that wasn’t very good. Been to around 10 Chinese bbq places in the GTA- would rank this one near the bottom. No line up though, which is rare for these types of stores.
All these “great” reviews from new reviewers are very SUS! My experience was not positive. The bbq pork I received was dry, tough and unflavorful. The roast pork they have is from a very aged (old) pig and therefore the meat is tough and dry. I really wanted great Chinese bbq from this place as I frequent the neighbouring supermarket often (would save me a trip up the street off Dixie to the Chinese food court) but I was extremely disappointed. People who want quantity over quality might be ok with the food. Hopefully food gets better as it currently does not share the “Tasty” part of your name!
