Love this Tailor and they always do a great job. We have used them many times. I guess that my experience is very different from some. The people her have always been polite and very customer service focused. Regardless, I look at the work done and it is always excellent. I recently needed a pair of jeans "modified" for a 70's party and the Tailor did an amazing job. We have had lots of things altered here and always done well.

My journey began with the purchase of a designer dress from a boutique on Avenue Road, a significant investment totaling over $700. With the sole requirement of shortening the dress, I entrusted Top Stitch with the task, influenced by glowing recommendations from friends who praised their services. I vividly recall the painstaking process as the seamstress meticulously pinned every layer of my dress, assuring me it would be ready for collection by September 22nd, just ahead of my brother's wedding in Niagara Falls on the 23rd. Believing all was well, I picked up the dress without a second glance, trusting that the alterations were as promised. It wasn't until the morning of the wedding in Niagara Falls that I pulled the dress from its garment bag, intending to wear it for the occasion. To my horror, I discovered the appalling truth. The once-glamorous material had lost its sheen, the straps sagged as if stretched beyond repair, and the dress's fullness and pocket placement bore no resemblance to its original form. With no time for recourse, I was compelled to wear the disfigured dress to my brother's wedding, silently mourning the loss of what should have been a joyous occasion. Upon my return to Mississauga, I confronted the seamstress about her appalling work. To my dismay, she denied any responsibility, insisting she had adhered to the agreed-upon alterations. Adding insult to injury, she refused to give me a refund for the $150 that I had paid on the 22nd, demonstrating a shocking lack of accountability and professionalism. My experience with Top Stitch at South Common Mall has left an indelible mark, tarnishing not only the cherished memories of my brother's wedding but also the sanctity of family photos. If I could give less than zero stars, I would. I implore others to exercise caution when considering their services, as their disregard for integrity and customer satisfaction is utterly deplorable. Very discriminatory lady. Although she is good at what she does her integrity and ethics are non existent. If you are not Asian or Caucasian I would not deal with her. Very sad and so true. She also rushed me while trying to figure out what height I wanted one of my tops. She finished the job and the height was not correct; she had the nerve to yell at me, tell me off and then tell my I’m too picky when she was rushing me and telling me I am too picky yet I’m the customer and was tryin by to figure out the right height. What a waste of $50. I will also be complaining to the better business bureau as she refused to give me my money and my receipt. I hope God sends her the same energy from another angle of life.
