Never order from here again. We got lump rice-17 packs. 5 packs had rotten rice. It was for a birthday and the birthday girl got a rotten pack. Ruined her day? Next day we told the store who said sorry but didn’t talk about refunding a penny. Learned the lesson hard way trusting these places and people.☹️
The food is very fresh and tasty. Placed an order for a party of 25 in the morning and everything was packaged and ready for pick up at the specified time. Prices are good value for the all the items. Pastries are delicious, the lamprais is so yummy also. Authentic Srilankan food without the hassle of preparing at home. Would highly recommend giving them a try.
Really delicious hole in the wall restaurant. Tastes like home cooked meals. Friendly people, great prices :) always get me authentic Sri lankan food here!
This place has the best fish buns and Sri Lankan Lampraise in town. This is a take out place. Pease call and ask for Biriyani and Sri Lankan Lumpraise availability as they are very popular and can run out.
I ordered the Lamprais from Lankan Delights today and was extremely disappointed, not only with the taste, but also with how it made me feel physically. The dish did not taste anything like authentic Lamprais and was overly oily and heavy. Shortly after eating, I experienced discomfort, and a strong sense of unease that left me genuinely concerned about the quality of the food. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was serious enough that I feel others should be aware. I truly hope the team reviews their preparation process and prioritizes both taste and health standards moving forward.
Recently I got fish lump rice and chicken lump rice. I am really disappointed because they missed to put an egg for chicken lump rice and for fish rice they only put a small fish portion. And the cashier is not friendly and no smile to customers at all. However the food is delicious.
This small, hidden location might not look like much at first, but their Lamprais is delightful. No seating so takeout only. Not much staff, but they are attentive. I think their Lamprais are premade and reheated as I had to stand and wait 20 minutes for mine. Not quite enough time to cook everything and not quick enough to be packed with ready made dishes. Still well worth the value, will be going back for their daily specials!
