My first ever 1 star review. I would not recommend purchasing from this place to my worst enemy. I purchased a pair of hoka cliftons online on October 13th after waffling between the cliftons and the bondis for close to a month. I decided to go with the cliftons since theyre slightly cheaper at 190$ and if I didnt like it well I could just exchange it for the bondis, right? RIGHT? wrong. Went into this location and they said they'd have to return the cliftons and then id buy the bondis. So I did. But the online order for the cliftons was online with my credit card and since I had to fork out now another 200$ for the bondis, I paid for the bondis in cash. I was told a refund would be issued in the next 5-10 business days. I purchased the bondis on October 18th. I see the pending refund in my credit card account. Flash forward a month to November 18th, when I still see a pending refund and not a completed one. I email customer service to get a refund. Instead of getting the refund pushed through, the store starts calling me asking me to come in to get my refund. I work alot so I finally went in today on December 5th to receive my refund. When I show up there were 2 old ladies and the one 'taking care' of me starts talking about afterpay. I have used afterpay in the past but was pretty sure I didnt use afterpay for this order but at this point its been a couple months so I didnt totally remember. She starts talking about selling me back the shoes to be able to issue the refund because since I paid with afterpay, afterpay has my money not running room. Then she starts saying that actually they already gave me my refund when I came in on October 18th to buy the bondis. Which yes, the refund was issued but was not completed as to this day my credit card shows the pending refund. My boyfriend was with me that day and can also verify i received no refund but I asked and verified with the lady that day that I would be receiving a refund in the coming days to my credit card. They have a completed receipt of a refund to my credit card without my signature. I point this out to which the old lady chuckles and says 'ya your signature doesn't matter, its automatic'. Which not sure about that one lady. She calls their office or something and they say that yes the refund was completed and they dont owe me anything but I can call my bank or Google pay or their customer service(which just said they have nothing for me) for the refund instead. They verified my order number several times. I was met with pretty much a shrug. At this point ive paid over 400$ and I have 1 pair of ($200) shoes. And ive been back and forth to the store for nothing at my own inconvenience. I love my hoka bondis and I would recommend you get them from literally anyone else. Get them direct from hoka or maybe even the black market, they may have more honest sellers there. I thought I was supporting a nice Canadian company when in fact I have been swindled. And these people are no canadians with the attitudes and chuckles I encountered at my misfortune. Shop here at your own risk, you've been warned.
I came in to the store on a Friday night looking for shoes that would be comfortable for my neuroma. The staff at this location are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. The lady who assisted me was able to provide me with many options to try on, as well as went above and beyond to do additional research on the condition. She was very patient as I tried on shoes and tried to determine what felt most comfortable for me. Although I wasn’t able to make a decision that day, I will absolutely be coming back to this store for future purchases. Thank you so much for your empathy, patience and help. Recovering from a foot injury is stressful enough but it’s refreshing when you are listened to and supported.
Meghan was such a great Customer rep. She was very knowledgeable about my feet issues and was able to identify which shoes I required. I Absolutely recommend.
Had a pleasant visit to this store. Went there early, actually, before they opened. Had a good parking spot, went for a walk and had coffee. Parking is free every Sunday?. Store was okay, they have an okay variety of Hoka shoes. Also had wide sizes. Sales associate was okay… answered all our questions and just doing her job. Noticed that the area for trying in shoes is kinda awkward. You try on some shoes, taking your time… but behind you is a wall where shoes are on display as well. When buying or browsing, it seems really awkward to be looking at the display of shoes while customers are also trying on shoes. I wish that a separate area for trying on shoes would be designated at this store. Well, we got 2 pairs of Hokas which we will enjoy for sure.
I found that ordering straight from the manufacture gives more options in terms of colour choices & no real sales or special discounts. The staff is really nice though.
Waste of time, overpriced and useless. Placed an order online for a Christmas gift which showed it was in stock. Over a week later I called to find out where my order was, only to find out they had to cancel it because it was not in stock. What kind of website in 2018 lets you order something when there isn't actually stock? No wonder they keep shutting down locations.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, great place for Learn to Run & this place also has great running programs to progress from Basic to Marathons with very experienced & knowledgeable Run Instructors, I have learnt to enjoy my run here with the team.
