The seating arrangement and furniture in the library are very nice and comfortable. There are many good spots to sit and read or work, which is a big plus. However, the biggest issue is the noise. The environment feels more like a cafe than a library - people are talking loudly, laughing, and even children are running around making noise. Some visitors are even talking on their phones inside the library, which is very distracting. There is one small private room that is a bit quieter, but it’s too small for the number of people who want a quiet space. It would be great if a larger silent room could be provided. I believe the librarian and staff should take more active steps to remind everyone that a library is a quiet space meant for studying, reading, and focusing. Please help restore the silence that a library should have. Thank you.
I think this is a very nice and organized library. The sections are all evenly distributed, with books for adults, youth and juniors. There's also a whole room dedicated to quiet space and there's a separate play area for little children too. I like the seating arrangements too. My one minor nitpick however, is that there's mostly only romance based books in the youth section. I would appreciate more variety of topics
This is my go to spot for studying and doing work. There are private cubicles in the back with power outlets, so you can plug in your laptop easily. It's a great library and the staff are amazing as well.
Library is closed when we need the most. Library hours for saturday are only until 5:30 pm and closed on sunday. What if I want to study after 5:30 or on Sunday? Atleast have a room open for study in the community centre so that we can study
GUYS STAY AWAY FROM THIS LIBRARY!! I went in today to do my resume and cover letter at the library and the lady at the front desk(Tall, slim, dark blonde short hair, wearing glasses) approched me in a very rude matter as to me being loud and to keep it down while she spoke to the next lady that was sitting at tbe computer next to me very loudly in her Polish language. This is discrimantion against humans. This invidiual shouldn’t be working here. I won’t be back to this library again thats for sure
Needs more tables with outlets. The hours are also really short compared to the community center. The selection of books is good though and the staff seem nice.
Good collection of books, good ambience for reading/studying (located in Mississuaga community center, in the middle of a beautiful trail). Gets a little noisy during the weekends and late evenings due to kids walking and running around, which can be controlled by the library staff.
