I bought a box of mixed sweets, and it was a huge disappointment. The sweets were clearly not fresh. There were a couple of pink cham cham in the box, and as soon as I got home and opened it, a nasty smell came from them. It was honestly disgusting. Unfortunately have to waste them. This is completely unacceptable, and I definitely do NOT recommend buying from here.
Save your money, don’t bother getting Hakwa from this place. I ordered the Carrot (Gajar) Halwa, Habshi Halwa, Kalakand and a Khoya Nut ladoo. The only reason they are even getting a 3 star is because the ladoo tasted better from everything else, and even it was average. I pretty sure the Gajar Halwa was spoiling, it was dry with a metallic taste.
Store Looks clean and hygenic! The girl on the counter welcomed me with smiling face, which was nice. I tasted couple of mithai and jalebi, but jalebi was not tasted like it was fried in Desi ghee, no taste of desi ghee whatsoever. And I ordered both chicken and Aloo samosa. Both somosa were good, Aloo samosa was better than chicken and thank God there was no green peas. I would suggest to add more onion in the chicken samosa, which after caramelized will make it not too dry and make it tasty and little wet. Will go again to buy somosas. Recommended!
I highly recommend this establishment for all sweets, chai and snacks. Great food and great staff, especially Noor, she is always smiling and very pleasant
the worker here is so rude. I was new to the store on my first visit and I don’t know much about Pakistani sweets so I was trying to select some stuff and she told me to hurry up and stop taking my time. She was rushing me and had so much attitude and was so rude. The store was not even busy at all, even if it was she should be more respectful and have better customer service skills. I will never be back ever again. I came April 20 at 3:30pm
Wowww. What an experience. Was a regular chulla express tea customer late nite. But today just came across this place and that Imran Khan wall paper stopped me rite there. Definitely have to come in and try this place. So now this is my tea place forever.
Putting my last experience in past. I want to say who so ever cooked the jalebi today please you keep doing that and don’t let anyone else do it. The jalebi is to die for. And thank you for replacing my old batch with these new ones
