Very expensive and frozen food similar to M+M meat shops.Their poor quality sausages had hard pieces of fat in it.Their very pushy staff follow you around and try desperately to sell you something you don't need this place is not busy at all I can see why.Also when you buy something in a jar you have to wash it and return it for your deposit.I don't think that's very sanatiry depending whose washing them. With flu season and covid times I find that pretty gross. I Won't return again first and last time.
They are not nice people. I was just walking by, when my little dog did her business on their grass. I put my backpack down to get a bag to clean it up. My dog began to play ball with me while I found a dog bag. A well dressed man came out of the store and told me I had to leave cus I was trespassing! This is how you do retail? We don't need inhospitable companies in our neighborhood, especially if it's a meat store that doesn't like dogs!
Could not resist going in with a store name like Meaty Eats. Very clean and airy. The cold cuts were terrific (ham, salami, mortadella). No filler or preservatives. The sourdough dough bread is fantastic. I wish them well and we will be back.
The lovely young woman who works there is amazing! So friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The food is incredible! I am so happy I stopped in! The organic sausages and organic gluten free chicken and pasta soup are absolutely delicious! It is so worth a visit!
When I recently walked into Meaty Eats on Bloor West village recently, I felt like I had walked into the pages of a Gourmet Magazine! I was in absolute FOODIE heaven!!! The place was gorgeous, beautifully laid out with the most delectable, curated foods throughout the store. We enjoyed the most creative combinations of scrumptious house made sandwiches, baked goods and prepared foods, which are top quality with the freshest ingredients. I was like a kid in a candy store as I shopped for my cheese and charcuterie board, complete with the most unique house made dips and tapenades. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Diana, an in-house expert and fellow foodie – seeing how excited I was, she made some excellent recommendations to add to my board. The family size mushroom risotto we had for dinner was worthy of company and would give any high-end restaurant a run for its money! Their bone broth is amazing and so reasonably priced. I love drinking it on its own or as a base for a quick soup. At Meaty Eats you get great value for high quality food with top level of customer service! I’m so excited to go back again! Maria
This is the place to go for fresh, high quality meats and baked goods. We often get pizza slices, fresh amazing loaves of bread, pies, and pastries here. It's absolutely great value for the quality of product and high level of customer service you receive. Highly recommend for specialty meats.
Excellent and caring service! I called in my order and picked up. The prime rib steaks were fantastic. Also got sausages, olive oil and pasta. I see many other items that will be in my next cart. Thank you!
